How to Start the “Osaka's Famous Clown” Mission

“Osaka’s Famous Clown” is one of Like a Dragon Gaiden’s many "Stroll n’ Patrol" missions, which are easily located by tracking down white exclamation marks dotted around the city. As players level up and unlock new features of Akame’s Network, new missions become accessible throughout Sotenbori.

To start the mission “Osaka’s Famous Clown,” the player should head to W Sokufucho where, just north of Richi Tower Mahjong, they’ll encounter a Restless Tourist. The man is, unfortunately, far too busy to see the sights of Sotenbori and would greatly appreciate Joryu’s help in capturing a photo of one of its attractions: a famous clown puppet named Kuidaore Taro.

In Like a Dragon Gaiden, the statuesque puppet Kuidaore Taro is situated at the top center of the Sotenbori map, where a broad restaurant exterior decorates the north side of Sotenbori St. The striped clown stands grinning, awaiting tourists to snap a photo. The establishment associated with the clown doesn't serve as a functional restaurant and lacks the yellow icon that denotes these valid eateries in the game.

However, locating Osaka’s famous clown remains an easy-to-complete task, as he stands nestled between the Yokobori Golf Center and Club SEGA Sotenbori to the right. Both locations are marked with a purple game controller icon signaling minigame activities and making them easy to locate on the Sotenbori map.
