But depending on where you are located, and which source you are referencing, the release date appears to be a day earlier, on the 25th. On the Steam page for Infinite Wealth, for example, the game's release date is listed as the 25th.

This is likely due to time zone differences, and the possibility that the Steam version will unlock for play at the same time across the globe, based on a time zone ahead of your own. Unless something changes, PC players in the west will likely be able to play the game the day before, on the 25th.

What Time Does Infinite Wealth Release?

For the most part, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is set to launch at midnight in localized areas. This means that, no matter where you are located, if you plan to play the game on console, digital access is locked until midnight in your own time zone, 12 a.m. On the 26th.

But, because of the differences with the Steam version, PC players can likely expect to play earlier. What exact time of day is as of yet unknown, but if the Steam release is based on the release time for Infinite Wealth in Japan, U.S. PC players could be playing the game in the morning on the 25th. Japan is nearly a full day ahead of the United States' time zones, and nine hours ahead of the U.K. LaD Gaiden released on Steam at the same time as Japan, so it could happen again.

For now, console players should expect to get going on Ichiban and the gang's time in Honolulu at midnight local time on the 26th. PC players, who will play the game via Steam, can expect to play the game a bit earlier on the 25th if they are ahead of the Japan time zone.
