6 Star Wars Outlaws

18–60 Hours

Star Wars Outlaws is the latest addition to the ever-expanding list of Star Wars games, and one of the most ambitious yet. Branded as the first true open-world game in the Star Wars universe, Outlaws allows fans to step into the shoes of Kay Vess, a young scoundrel trying to find her place in the galaxy while avoiding her troubled past. The game features five major worlds for players to explore: Cantonica, Toshara Moon, Akiva, Kijimi, and, of course, Tatooine.

Despite its large scope, Star Wars Outlaws isn't as bloated as players might expect from Ubisoft, especially compared to recent Assassin's Creed titles. Exact playtime data remains somewhat unclear since the game only launched a few days ago. However, early reports indicate that the main story takes around 18 hours to complete, with a full completionist run taking about 55–60 hours. These numbers may rise as more players dive deeper into the game. With Ubisoft already promising at least two story DLC packs, Outlaws will likely climb higher on the list of the longest Star Wars games.

5 LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

19–87 Hours

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the largest of all the LEGO Star Wars games, which is hardly surprising given its scope. The game lets players experience the events of all nine major films in the Star Wars saga, visit 23 different planets, and play as over 400 characters from the expanded universe (if all DLC packs from the Galactic Edition are purchased).

That said, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga's main story isn't particularly lengthy. The game averages around 19–20 hours — roughly the same as binge-watching all nine Star Wars episodes back-to-back. However, for completionists aiming to see everything the game has to offer, the journey can stretch to a hefty 87–90 hours of gameplay.

4 Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

21–55 Hours

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an exemplary sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, offering fans everything they could hope for. Playing as an older and more battle-hardened Cal Kestis, players explore exotic locations such as Coruscant, Koboh and its Shattered Moon, Jedha, and, briefly, Nova Garon and Tanalorr. The game features a wealth of areas to clear, puzzles to solve, and enemies to defeat, all while balancing an engaging narrative with intimate gameplay sections to near perfection.

The main story of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor can be completed in around 21 hours. However, for those who aim to tackle every side quest, hidden challenge, and optional boss, the game will take closer to 55 hours.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is often hailed as one of the greatest Star Wars games ever made. It offers players freedom, a captivating story, and a memorable cast of characters — many of whom have become iconic within the fanbase. Players begin as either a soldier, scout, or scoundre. They eventually undergo Jedi training at the Academy (and Sith training later on), encountering shocking plot twists along the way. With seven planets to explore — Taris, Dantooine, Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Manaan, Korriban, and Lehon — players can shape their destiny as either a hero or a villain.

Completing the main story of Star Wars: KOTOR takes most players around 30 hours, though with plenty of side quests and activities, a full playthrough will likely take about 48 hours. The game's excellent replayability also lets players experience the story from the perspective of a Dark Jedi, so fans can easily double its playtime.

And like the original KOT OR, The Sith Lords offers substantial replay value with its different Force alignments. Players experience the game twice with significant variations in the story.

While placing an MMO at the top might seem like cheating, Star Wars: The Old Republic offers a surprisingly strong, narrative-driven action experience, even when played solo. Featuring separate story arcs, countless expansive worlds, and a wealth of well-written supporting characters, BioWare has crafted one of the richest Star Wars experiences ever. At launch, the studio promised the game would be like KOTOR 3, 4, and so on. And they delivered.

With eight unique storylines based on the class players choose, six major expansions, and over 30 different worlds to explore, The Old Republic offers a vast and immersive Star Wars experience. A single playthrough takes around 80 hours. However, depending on how many classes players choose to explore, the game can easily take more than 500 hours for dedicated fans who want to experience everything it has to offer.
