While many Tiles in Loop Hero require the player to interact with them in some way, Landscape Tiles differ in that they are mostly the kind that are placed on the map, away from the Road, and have a passive effect that influence's The Hero's stats.

There are 14 Landscape Tiles in the game and some are merely minor variations of one another, though, all can be used by builds dedicated to specific strategies. Be sure to only insert Landscape Cards into one's deck based on the character they are using and the tactics that they wish to unleash on their upcoming journey.

14 Rock

tile that gives 1% base hp.

One of the first cards that the player will be able to use in the game is the Rock Card, which places Rock Tiles upon the map on the desired location (cannot be on the Road or adjacent to it). Each Rock that is placed will increase The Hero's max HP by 1% (+1% for every adjacent Rock or Mountain Tile) as well as gives 1 Preserved Pebble.

13 Mountain

a tile that gives 2% of base HP for each adjacent Rock or Mountain.

Mountains act very similarly to Rocks in that they increase The Hero's max HP, but do so by +2% for each adjacent Rock or Mountain, meaning that they rely on a few Rocks to be effective, however, provide a greater stat boost. When 10 Rocks and Mountains are placed, a Goblin Camp will appear somewhere adjacent to the Road.

12 Mountain Peak

large tile that spawns harpies and grants bonus base hp.

These stone giants are formed when the player places 9 Rocks and Mountains in a 3x3 square. When a Mountain Peak appears, the player gets +48% max HP, a huge boon, though one that comes with a cost. Every 2 days, this large tile will spawn a pesky harpy, which can be quite annoying due to their high evasion.

11 Meadow

tile that gives 2 hp at the start of each day.

Another of the most basic Landscape Tiles in the game are Meadows, which grants The Hero +2 HP (as healing, not max HP) at the start of every day.

Combining their effects with time-manipulating Tiles like Chrono Crystals can vastly increase the HP healed every morning.

10 Blooming Meadow

tile that heals 3 HP at the start of each day.

When one places a Meadow next to anything that is not the same kind of Tile, it transforms into a flowery Blooming Meadow. This more colorful variant heals 3 HP at the start of each day, and can also be affected by time-manipulating tactics. They are immensely useful in the early parts of the game, however, they are outclassed by other Tiles that get unlocked later.

9 Desert

tile that lowers every creature's HP by 0.5%.

While at first seeming like a debuff, players can use the effects of Desert Tiles to greatly weaken enemies. Every Desert placed on the map lowers every creature's HP by 0.5%, including The Hero. One can pair Deserts with Meadows and Blooming Meadows to offset The Hero's decrease in HP if the player feels that they need a beefier build.

8 Sand Dune

tile that lowers all creature's HP by 1%.

Similar to Deserts, Sand Dune Tiles lower the max HP of all creatures on the map, however, they do so by a value of 1% each instead of 0.5%. There are methods of using Deserts and Sand Dunes beyond the straightforward HP debuff, though, this tactic requires a Tile that gets unlocked later on.

7 River

tile that doubles the effects of others and transforms many landscape tiles.

These rushing waters are considered by many to be the best Landscape Tile, as they double the effects of other adjacent Landscape Tiles. Rivers are also bringers of transformations, as they can not only use Desert and Sand Dune Tiles to turn into Oasis ones but can also change to make Reed and Bridge Tiles when placed adjacent and on top of Wasteland Tiles.

Furthermore, all Battlefields next to a River get turned into Shipwrecks. When placing them, keep in mind that a River needs to start somewhere along the border of the map.

6 Oasis

tile that lowers attack speed for all creatures.

Borne from Rivers placed next to Desert and Sand Dunes, Oasis Tiles specialize in lowering the attack speed for all creatures on the map. The rate at which they do so for The Hero is 0.5% per Tile, while for enemies they decrease the attack speed by 1% each.

5 Forest

landscape tiles that grant bonus attack speed.

These sparse woods are known for increasing The Hero's attack speed by 1% per Tile. However, don't get too greedy with them, as A Village? Tile will spawn upon the Road for every 10 Forest and Thicket Tiles that are placed. With each of these green-housed Tiles, more and more wooden warrior enemies will spawn.
