Lords of the Fallen is filled with massive interconnected locations, dangerous enemies lurking around every corner, and valuable loot that can greatly boost your build. The game encourages exploration, but some areas are gated behind progression items you’ll need to hunt down yourself.
How To Use Friends Pass in Lords of the Fallen Version 2.0
Lords of the Fallen has introduced a new multiplayer mode alongside the Friends Pass. Here is how players can use it in Version 2.0.
Players can acquire the Fief Key after a short amount of time in the game, which unlocks a major location. Here is all you need to know about how one can obtain the Fief Key and where to travel in order to use it in Lords of the Fallen.
Visiting the Fief of the Chill Curse immediately, however, is not the best option—especially if you're underleveled and struggling with tougher enemies and bosses.
How To Get The Fief Key in Lords of the Fallen
To acquire the Fief Key, players must progress through the main areas until they reach the Vestige of Olleren in Forsaken Fen Lookout. From here, follow the main path, and you will be able to drop down a large pit where you will face off against The Congregator of Flesh. This is one of the easier boss fights in the game, and defeating it allows you to proceed further into Forsaken Fen. After the boss has been dealt with, head back to Skyrest Bridge. Next to the main Vestige, you will find Andreas of Ebb, who has relocated and will tell you about a frozen area and to visit the woods, giving you the Fief Key.
It is important to note that if the player has progressed through a large section of the game without talking to Andreas of Ebb, he leaves the Skyrest Bridge for his next location, but you can still grab the Fief Key from the location where he was standing on the Skyrest Bridge.
Where To Use The Fief Key in Lords of the Fallen
After acquiring the Fief Key, fast travel to the Vestige of Marco the Axe and turn around to face the bell door up ahead. This door will remain locked throughout the game unless you have the Fief Key, which Andreas just provided you with. Go up to the door and interact with it to unlock it. This allows you to progress into the next area, which leads to the Fief of the Chill Curse.
For players wondering whether or not they should visit this location, you must keep in mind that it is one of the areas containing a Beacon that you need to interact with or cleanse, depending on whichever ending you are pursuing during your current playthrough.
