Choosing The Best Skills
To make the Deathblade her strongest in PVE, she'll need the best skills accessible to her. Many of these pack quite a punch, allowing her to deal massive damage. When the tripods are added in, this can increase exponentially. In addition, they'll need to pick the Awakening Skill Flash Blink, which allows the Deathblade to dash 12 meters toward a target, slashing all foes in her path along the way. Selecting The Best Engravings
There are two class engravings to choose from: Remaining Energy and Surge. Remaining Energy is overall the easiest to handle and provides consistency, whereas Surge is more of a high risk, high gain kind of engraving. Players cannot guarantee the outcome with Surge like they can with Remaining Energy. This is why Remaining Energy is the preferred of the two class engravings.
For standard engravings, players should shuffle their loadout to max out engraving points, which will allow for equipping another engraving. The recommended engravings that work really well with the Deathblade's skills are the following:
- Cursed Doll: Increases attack power 16% and decreases incoming healing -25%, natural healing excluded
- Grudge: Damage dealt is increased by up to 20% for Boss or higher level enemies, and incoming damage from them is decreased by the same amount
- Master of Ambush: Increases base attack damage by up to 25%
- Super Charge: Increases speed at which charged skills charge by up to 40%, increases damage taken by up to 20%
Recommended Stats
The focus for stats for the Deathblade build should be on Specialization as the primary and Critical as the secondary. Specialization allows for the faster buildup of the Demon Orb meter and boosts the effects of the Remaining Energy engraving.
Critical is essential as it will boost the damage dealt by the backstab. As the Deathblade's base damage isn't very high, to begin with, this stat will prove to be essential. Players should aim for 1400 Specialization and 1000 Critical. All other stats are negligible to this particular build. Players can add to them as they wish or leave them at 0.
Alterations To Make For PVP
Things are a bit different in PVP because players can get any skill they want without having to level up. However, that being said, they need to be a bit selective to ensure they get the most bang for their buck.

Recommended Stats To Focus On For PVP
In PVP, the stat focus also changes for the Deathblade. She is essential to be a character of high mobility that causes high damage. Keeping her moving is critical to success. That's why Swiftness is the primary stat focus for PVP. Attack Speed, Move Speed, and Cooldowns will all be enhanced.
The secondary stat focus is Domination. When an enemy is stunned, the Deathblade will cause increased damage. Because she has a high rate of delivering combos, this is an excellent stat to focus on. This will make her a formidable enemy in PVP.
