The Green, Yellow, and Azure Moss Turtle Mounts are one of many obtainable Mounts within Smilegate's MMORPG, Lost Ark. While a lot of this title's Mounts cost real-world money to get, there are still quite a lot that are collectable in-game. And, one of by far the most highly-sought after Mounts by newer players are the Moss Turtles.

Because the Luxury Merchant shows up as early as Prideholme, brand-new players see that this Mount is obtainable for just a single Jewel Coral, but have no idea how to get it! So, with that in mind, let's go over exactly how to go about getting one of these snazzy Turtle rides in Lost Ark.

Where To Find The Quest Line

Lost Ark - Talking To The Turtle Dad On Turtle Island

Once players reach are able to start sailing around the seas of Arkesia, they can go and grab what's needed for these mounts. Simply head to Turtle Island, a patch of land in-between Anikka and Pleccia, and this is where the adventure begins.

Once on this Island, players can accept an important Side Quest from Tatan, a literal turtle, and this leads to the five-part quest involving a boy named Flynn, his surrogate (turtle) father Baham, and their relationship. The five quests are as follows:

  1. The Turtle and the Boy
  2. To Look Like a Turtle
  3. To Breathe Like a Turtle
  4. To Dive Like a Turtle
  5. To The Sea

Following this Quest Chain leads players all around Arkesia to craft different Turtle-like apparatus' for Flynn, from a Turtle Outfit in Anikka to a fake Shell made in Arthetine and finally a magical snorkel crafted by the magi in North Vern (imagine the Lore implications). Additionally, the rewards from each of these individual Quests include Uncommon Battle Engraving Recipe Selection Pouches, Creation Fragments, Epic Rapport Chests, and finally the Island Soul for Turtle Island itself.

Where To Get The Turtles

Lost Ark - Turtle Island Boy Finally Swimming With The Turtles

After finishing the final Quest in this Chain "To The Sea", players will receive the Island Soul, some Silver (which is always needed), some High Seas Coin Chests (can be turned into Pirate Coins), and finally the Jewel Coral. But, where's the Moss Turtle? Well, players actually have to take this Jewel Coral to any Luxury Merchant found in all major cities, and exchange it with them to pick from one of three different colored Turtle Mounts.

And what's even more, there are actually two other Turtle Mounts in the game that can be obtained as well! One is the Golden Moss Turtle that's given to players on Opher Island in exchange for 25 Island Tokens, and the other is the Red Moss Turtle which requires players to complete An Una's Task related to the "Sinking Island" Reputation Daily, for 30 Days total.

Lost Ark was released on December 4th, 2019, and is available on PC.
