Every roguelike has a different way of distributing weapons and powers. In Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, players will start with a sword and can then unlock three other weapons they can equip at home base. Cards are different in that they can be acquired in dungeons and then lost upon death, unlike card systems in other games.
How to Access the Wardrobe in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die
Here is how players can access the wardrobe in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die and change their clothes.
Players can activate Cards in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die if they have enough energy which can be regained through item drops or by attacking enemies. With over a dozen to discover, let’s go through which ones to look out for which will be ranked based on power and usefulness.
8 Juggler Of Poisons
Beware Of Fall Flasks
Juggler of Poisons is a good card with a high risk and reward upon using it. The initial damage will not be that strong, but it adds Poison to enemies once hit, which will drain HP over time. The trouble is that the initial flask, or series of flasks if players time their attack perfectly, is that they will fly haphazardly around the battlefield. This makes it hard to aim Juggler of Poisons, so players have to be careful about using it during combat.
7 Card Of Vengeance
Become Like Gambit
Card of Vengeance will essentially turn Aleksandra into Gambit from the X-Men. Players will throw out some cards which will inflict light damage initially but there is a chance they can hit critically. Critical hits do more damage, as is standard in most games plus players can perform a perfect attack to throw out more heat-seeking cards of doom. It may not be the strongest card overall, but the Card of Vengeance has potential.
6 Hammer Of Storms
Thor’s Revenge
Hammer of Storms can make Aleksandra into another Marvel hero, Thor, as she will throw out an electrified hammer. This hammer can strike foes for lightning-based damage plus it can ricochet off multiple enemies or walls.
How to Unlock All Weapons in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die
There are four weapons in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die. Here’s how players can unlock them all.
A perfect attack with this Card will make it bounce around more like players are controlling a more weaponized pinball. It’s a good Card to use in small spaces as it has the potential to be knocked around and thus hit more enemies.
5 Roller Of Stars
The Die Is Cast
Roller of Stars will blast out a giant die that will hit enemies for damage with a chance to stun. A stunned enemy cannot move, giving players time to rush in and attack or a chance to relax and catch their breath. A perfect shot will throw out more dice as players are playing a high-stakes game of Dungeons & Dragons. The dice are all pretty big, giving them a better hit window to strike enemies in a room compared to the Card of Vengeance or Hammer of Storms, which have equal amounts of power.
4 Spear Of Time
Slowing Down Fate
Spear of Time will launch a spear-like projectile forward. Once hit, players have a chance to manipulate time and stop enemies in their tracks similar to the stun effect but more devastating. A perfect hit from this Card attack can explode the attack upon impact, thus giving it the ability to strike multiple foes and even stop them. There’s another time-based Card in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, Tide of Time, which has a shorter range but the same stop effects.
3 Spirit Of Flames
Burn Baby Burn
Spirit of Flames will create a large sentient fireball that will move toward an enemy of its own accord. A well-timed attack from this Card can produce more flames. The best part of this Card is Burn, though, which can be inflicted if the fireball makes contact with an enemy.
Lost in Random The Eternal Die: How To Open the Drawbridge in the Sanctuary
Here is how players can access the area locked behind the drawbridge in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die.
An enemy with Burn stacks will take fire-based damage over time, similar to Burn effects in other RPGs. Breath of Flames is a wave-based fire attack that can also inflict Burn and is an easy substitute.
2 Eye Of Storms
It’s Electric
Eye of Storms will practically turn Aleksandra into the eye of a storm of a tornado, focusing a lightning charge around her body. When activated, any enemy that gets within her ring of electricity will be attacked. It’s a good defensive and offensive Card but the trouble is its short duration. Even a perfectly timed activation won’t make the Eye of Storms stay out for too much longer so players will have to make sure and make every second count.
1 Tempest Of Ice
A Tornado Of Torture
Tempest of Ice is a Card attack that will conjure a giant tornado made to twirl around the battlefield and torment enemies with ice magic. While there is not set pattern to its chaos, the Tempest of Ice will typically travel toward enemy groups. It’s not that good against bosses but for most encounters in the game, Tempest of Ice is king. Players better cross their finders and believe in the heart of the cards like in the Yu-Gi-Oh series to score this Card in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die.
