Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is a roguelike spinoff from the 2021 action-adventure game, Lost in Random. Even though the genre has changed, there’s still a high level of weird design quality with the world and characters. It very much feels like a roguelike that Tim Burton would make.
How to Unlock All Weapons in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die
There are four weapons in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die. Here’s how players can unlock them all.
Players will start Lost in Random: The Eternal Die with a sword but can then find three other weapons. Also, players can upgrade their weapons with separate skill trees. It’s not a lot of weapons for a roguelike, but they each have their qualities. Let’s go through and rank each one based on power and usefulness.
4 Sword Of Sixtopia
A Standard Defense Against The Dark
The Sword of Sixtopia is a decent, well-balanced sword for any game. It has the second-highest attack stats in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, which is good, but it is also the most boring choice of the four. The starting charged ability is a spin attack, which doesn’t have a lot of range, but at least it can defend against a swarm of enemies. The Sword of Sixtopia’s overall range is not that good either, since players have to be close to enemies to do any real damage. While the spin attack isn’t exciting, players can upgrade the weapon to create whirling tornado swarms instead, which does make the blade more appealing.
Other upgrades for that attack in particular can increase its duration or create smaller tornadoes after the big one blows up. Another useful upgrade will add a Burn effect at the end of combos. Burn is a typical status effect in a game that can damage enemies with fire-based damage over time. So while the Sword of Sixtopia is not that exciting initially, it does get better. Every weapon in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is useful, but compared to the others, which have better base models, the Sword of Sixtopia has a respectable place in the rear.
3 Sevendipity Striker
A Bow By Any Other Name
For a roguelike, Lost in Random: The Eternal Die has a lot of good ways to invite beginners into the genre. There are two difficulty modes, plus another option for added easy effects. Another good way any roguelike can help newbies out is by having a ranged weapon like a bow, which is what the Sevendipity Striker is. Like the other weapons, it only costs twenty Cinder to unlock, but players will assuredly be pumping a lot more Cinders into it if they want to upgrade this bow’s effects at all. For example, the starting charged attack will shoot a piercing arrow that will have higher damage than normal shots, plus the range will be strengthened.
Lost in Random The Eternal Die: How To Open the Drawbridge in the Sanctuary
Here is how players can access the area locked behind the drawbridge in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die.
The Sevendipity Striker can alternately have its charged attack turn into a scatter shot, which is less powerful than the normal piercing arrow but beneficial to hit multiple enemies. Also, if the enemy is big enough, players have the potential of hitting it three times with one attack, which is the real perk. That’s not all, as another perk can turn the charged arrow into a ghost-like entity or a shorter-ranged explosive. The Sevendipity Striker is unique compared to other weapons since all four upgrade tiers are based on charged attacks. Overall, this bow will keep players safer at a distance. The downsides are that players are more defenseless at close range, plus the bow’s attack power is the weakest of the four. For a bow in a game, though, Sevendipity Striker is a reliable one.
2 Lance Of Lady Luck
Getting To The Point
The Lance of Lady Luck is a spear-type weapon that has the same attack power as the Sevendipity Striker, except that this spear has a quicker draw. As a spear, it has a decent range too, but the speed is what makes this a fearsome weapon, which is typically not the case for this weapon type in games. The Lance of Lady Luck will charge players forward once enough energy is stored up. Instead of shooting an arrow forward, players will rocket through enemies like a crack of lightning. The other form of the Lance of Lady Luck’s charged attack will shoot a projectile that will then stab at a specific point multiple times.
How to Access the Wardrobe in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die
Here is how players can access the wardrobe in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die and change their clothes.
Getting that area set up correctly can be difficult, as enemies can often walk around the spear-laden trap. Like the Sword of Sixtopia, the Lance of Lady Luck can also be upgraded to inflict an element: electricity. It can create quite a devastating effect that can damage multiple enemies nearby. The Lance of Lady Luck has the best of what makes the Sword of Sixtopia appealing, the close-range combat, while still having a bit of leeway with the length of the pole arm to keep players at a safer distance. Plus, it can easily pierce through enemies like an arrow.
1 Helleven’s Hammer
Slow But Steady
Most heavy weapons in games have a learning curve like the Hammer in Monster Hunter Wilds. While the Helleven’s Hammer is slow in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, its attack power is the best, and it has an amazing starting charge. With a quick charge, players can create a streak of ice-like shards forward. This gives the Helleven’s Hammer a decent amount of range while keeping the core power intact. It makes the weapon an anomaly, but the short-range combat can be tricky to master since the swing speed is slow, making it harder to dash away in between attacks.
Compared to alternate charged attacks for other weapons, the Helleven’s Hammer is not as good as the original. The swapped version can create a pool of toxic waste, which can damage enemies over time with Poison. The normal charged attack is better. One good upgrade can turn the Helleven’s Hammer into a counter device that can knock back attacking enemies. Even with all of the benefits, the Helleven’s Hammer will not be for everyone. With patience, it can be a real ally against the forces of Mare, though.
