How to Solve the Guiding Pillar Puzzle in Lost Soul Aside

Upon entering the chamber that holds the Guiding Pillar puzzle, you'll immediately be confronted by a hostile group of Voidrax. These aggressive enemies must be defeated before you can safely begin your attempt at the puzzle. If you are struggling with the combat, consider equipping Seleria's Keepsake from your Trinkets menu. This valuable item not only significantly reduces incoming damage but also boosts your overall damage output, making it an excellent choice for challenging encounters, including difficult boss fights and the game's higher difficulty settings once you unlock them.

The solution to the Guiding Pillar puzzle is to strategically rearrange the pillars by striking them with your Greatsword in a specific sequence. This will cause light to pass through each pillar, ultimately opening the path forward. Begin by positioning yourself directly in front of the sealed door. Locate the first pillar on your right and strike it twice. Then, move to the next pillar to its left and strike it two times as well.

Be careful, as a third strike will move it too far.

The third pillar in the sequence is immovable, so you can ignore it. Proceed to the fourth pillar and strike it only once. Finally, move to the last pillar on the far left and strike it twice. Following these steps will correctly align the pillars, causing them to light up and unlock the door, allowing you to continue your journey through the Hidden Palace.
