Madden NFL 25 is a game of strategy, so having the best Safeties will be a key element in outperforming the opposing team. There are two positions that can fill this role: Strong Safeties (SS) and Free Safeties (FS). Strong Safeties will be closer to the line of scrimmage and will be ideal for shutting down run plays. As a Free Safety, Fitzpatrick can make great use of Deep Out Zone KO to react faster while outside the hash marks and at least 20 yards from the line of scrimmage. He will also be able to force more catch knockouts using this ability.
