As fall continues and the holiday season approaches, it's nearly time for the final Magic: The Gathering standard legal set of 2022 to hit the streets. It's been an exciting year for the collectible card game and fans have had a few months to enjoy Dominaria Unlimited, but the time to transition to The Brothers' War is fast approaching.

Pre-release events are set to kick off in just over a week, so many fans are currently devouring the visual spoilers and planning their strategies for the updated Limited and Constructed environments. Magic: The Gathering fans who want to commit some money to the digital version of the new set can also pick out which Magic Arena pre-order set is right for them this time around now that all of their contents have been revealed.

It's become tradition for the digital version of the game to offer some special cosmetic goodies along with a lot of packs or tournament tokens for players who want to drop some cash on the new set before it drops. There are currently two pre-order bundles available in the store (which will both disappear at launch) and both will run players just about $50.

As always, the options are tailored to a specific type of player. The first pass, Mishra's Pack, is a bit more appealing to Constructed players who want to build up a collection quickly without playing in a lot of drafts or sealed tournaments. The second bundle, Urza Play, is more for the daily grinder and includes the Set Mastery Pass and a handful of draft tokens.

Mishra's Pack Bundle

Available at time of purchase:

  • Mishra Sleeve

Available via voucher when the set is released:

  • 50x The Brothers' War Set Boosters
  • 5x The Brothers' War Golden Packs
  • 1x Mishra, Claimed by Gix Card
  • 1x Phyrexian Dragon Engine Card
  • Mishra, Claimed by Gix Depth Art Card Style
  • Phyrexian Dragon Engine Depth Art Card Style

Urza Play Bundle

Available at time of purchase:

  • Urza Sleeve
  • Urzan Sentinel Pet

  • Set Mastery Pass

That should be everything players need to consider when deciding if a Brothers' War pre-order bundle is right for them. The bundles are usually a good investment for players who enjoy cosmetics and plan to drop at least $50 in the game on over the coming three months between sets anyway.

Be sure to check back for updates, news, and strategy guides in the coming weeks as the set arrives.
