Magic: The Gathering is doing another crossover with Fallout in the form of a new Secret Lair "Rad Superdrop" that goes live in late January 2026. The collaboration spans four limited-time drops and one promo card featuring various Fallout characters, locations, and wasteland oddities.

Secret Lair is a brand of Magic: The Gathering that specializes in niche card collections officially marketed as "drops." The core idea behind it is to offer limited-edition variants of existing cards tied together by a certain theme or artist. In the vast majority of cases, Secret Lair cards are reprints with new art, though the brand occasionally introduces unique offerings as well. The Rad Superdrop collaboration will offer both new and reimagined Fallout cards.

One Magic: The Gathering Fallout Card is Suddenly Opposite to Its In-Game Rarity

Magic: The Gathering's Fallout Universes Beyond set has a card that's becoming increasingly pricier and rarer to find, unlike its in-game counterpart.

The newly announced drop consists of 22 Fallout-themed Magic: The Gathering cards. 21 of those are regular cards, available as one of the lineup's four mini-sets: Beyond Vault 33, Greet the Dog, Rad, and Welcome to New Vegas. All four sets go on sale via Secret Lair's official website on Monday, January 26, at 9am PT. A pre-queue will open one hour earlier. To join, customers will simply need to add any product to their cart and proceed to checkout. When the sale begins, those already in the pre-queue will be randomly assigned a position in line. Anyone entering the queue after 9am will receive a place based on the order in which they check out.

Among the four mini-sets, Beyond Vault 33 stands out as the highlight of the latest Fallout-themed drop, being the only one to feature brand-new cards: Lucy MacLean, Positively Armed; The Ghoul, Gunslinger; and Maximus, Knight Apparent. As its name suggests, the mini-set is based on Amazon’s Fallout TV series, which is currently airing its second season. Apart from its three new cards, the drop includes three repeats: Pre-War Formalwear, Spirit Mantle, and T-45 Power Armor (now reimagined as the T-60 Power Armor). At six cards, this is the largest drop from the newly announced batch, as the other three feature five cards each.

Secret Lair's New Fallout Promo Card Requires Hefty Spending

The 22nd card from the Rad Superdrop is a new variant of Silver Shroud Costume, an Artifact Equipment card that grants the equipped creature hexproof for one turn and makes its attacks unblockable while it remains on the battlefield. Secret Lair will be sending one variant of Silver Shroud Costume for every $149 spent while supplies last. Based on historical precedent, those supplies likely won't last for long.

The newly announced mini-sets start at between $29.99 and $39.99 for non-foil variants. They also include reprints of some of the most valuable Fallout-themed Magic: The Gathering cards currently in existence, including Sol Ring and The Wise Mothman. Based on the average realized prices of existing cards slated for reprint, the $29.99 Welcome to New Vegas drop will offer the best value, with the entire mini-set retailing for roughly the same price as a single card it contains: Nuka-Cola Vending Machine. Apart from Secret Lair's website, the non-foil edition of the Rad Superdrop will be available on Amazon later in 2026.
