Manor Lords tasks players with expanding and growing a town. While the town was originally settled by a few people, your aim is to make this town a thriving and prosperous city. Nonetheless, during your tenure as a lord, one challenge that you are going to face in your town is homelessness.
Homelessness occurs when the number of inhabitants in your area surpasses the available housing capacity. Over time, this can become a major problem and can affect your Approval Rating, which could further affect the development of your town. This guide will give you the exact strategy you need to get rid of homeless people in Manor Lands.
Manor Lords: Best Buildings To Construct First
Prioritizing certain buildings in Manor Lords can help make the early game go much more smoothly.
How to Get Rid of Homelessness
In Manor Lords, homelessness refers to inhabitants in your village who don't have a place to live. When these individuals are unable to find housing, they become homeless and may start forming Homeless Camps within your village.
Homelessness can hold back the development of your village because having a low approval rating means lower chances of new people settling in and helping with the different tasks and activities within the town.
To eliminate homelessness in Manor Lords, you will need to make sure that there are enough Burgage Plots for families. When you have excessive Burgage Plots, you will see that homeless people will start occupying vacant houses. Once they've moved in, the camps they set up will start to vanish on their own.
How to Build Burgage Plots
To build Burgage Plots in Manor Lords, follow these steps:
- Click on the Construction tab located at the bottom of the screen.
- Within the Construction tab, head to the Residential section.
- Among the various options available, choose the Burgage Plot.
- Map out the area where you want the houses to be built. You can place Burgage Plots almost anywhere on the map.
- Bear in mind that building each Burgage Plot requires two pieces of timber as a construction cost.
Burgage Plots are flexible and can be moved around as needed. Initially, you could focus on placing homes near areas where villagers are working and, if you have enough space, you can also upgrade the Burgage Plots to accommodate more families.
