Summary
- Invisible Woman is a versatile strategist with healing and crowd control abilities who works well with certain heroes.
- She pairs best with heroes like Hawkeye, Luna Snow, Punisher, Venom, Groot, Rocket, Wolverine, and Mister Fantastic.
- Pairing depends on playstyle, abilities, and maximizing the strengths of each hero.
The Invisible Woman is a tricky Strategist to use correctly, but in the right hands, she can act as a crucial lifeline for the rest of her team thanks to her unique abilities. Whether it's her Guardian Shield that can keep allies protected from damage, her Psionic Vortex to slow enemies down, or even her ultimate attack which grants the entire party invisibility, this member of the Fantastic Four has plenty of ways to keep her team healthy in the middle of battle.
Marvel Rivals: 10 Heroes With The Highest Pick Rate
These are the most-chosen heroes in Marvel Rivals. Let's take a look at why players like them so much.
However, there are a few heroes and villains in Marvel Rivals who benefit a lot more from Invisible Woman's playstyle than others, allowing them to deal the maximum amount of damage without being taken down too soon. As of right now, this new member of the Marvel Rivals cast is one of the most popular Strategists in the game, so it certainly doesn't hurt to know who she works well with when on the same team.
1 Hawkeye
Hawkeye Doesn't Tend To Move Around That Often, Allowing Him To Make Full Use Of The Guardian Shield
- Guardian Shield Can Keep Hawkeye Protected While He Snipes From Afar
- Psionic Vortex Draws Enemies Together To Set Up Easy Kills For Hawkeye
Guardian Shield is Invisible Woman's go-to healing technique, outside of her basic attack. However, while this shield can defend an ally from incoming damage, and heal them at the same time, it is also stationary, meaning some of the more mobile heroes can end up leaving it behind while on the move. This isn't so much the case for Hakweye though, who tends to hang back and line up his shots rather than diving in head-first, making him the perfect ally to grant a shield.
Additionally, Invisible Woman's Psionic Vortex, which drags multiple enemies into a singular point, can also be used to give Hawkeye an easier time picking off multiple targets at once, while also giving him a chance to charge up his passive before letting the arrows fly.
2 Luna Snow
Having A Second Healer With Stun And AOE Potential Helps To Diversify The Team
- Luna's Stun Ability Makes Up For Invisible Woman's Weaknesses
- Her AOE Ultimate Attack Can Heal While Invisible Woman's Provides Invisibility
Every character in Marvel Rivals comes with their fair share of weaknesses, and Invisible Woman is no different. While she does have her Psionic Vortex that can draw in nearby opponents, she doesn't have a dedicated stun ability, meaning she is unable to shut down enemies who activate their ultimate attacks, but this is an area that Luna Snow can cover instead.
Marvel Rivals: 8 Situational Heroes Who Have Very Specific Skillsets
These Marvel Rivals heroes might not be jacks-of-all-trades, but they have excellent skillsets that allow them to shine in specific situations.
Luna's able to freeze an enemy with the click of a button, and she also possesses a large AOE ultimate that provides healing, unlike Invisible Woman. Therefore, the two of them essentially cover up one another's drawbacks, making them a formidable pairing in the backline of any team.
3 The Punisher
Punisher Can Dish Out Plenty Of Damage While Remaining Completely Protected With Invisible Woman By His Side
- Punisher Can Remain Protected While In His Culling Turret With A Guardian Shield
- Bunching Up Enemies Together With Psionic Vortex Allows Punisher To Fire At Multiple Enemies At Once
When he's not zip-lining around the map, the Punisher can often be found hunkering down with his Culling Turret, a stationary war machine that can pump out damage like there's no tomorrow when concentrated on an enemy. Since this weapon forces Punisher to remain stationary, though, it means the best Strategist to keep him safe from enemy fire is Invisible Woman with her Guardian Shield, or by using Force Physics to keep enemies away from him.
If Sue uses her Psionic Vortex to keep multiple enemies grouped up in one spot, she can also set up a few easy kills for Punisher to take advantage of if he has his ultimate ready to go, creating the potential for an entire team-wipe when used effectively.
4 Venom
Invisible Woman Can Pull Enemies Into Venom's Reach, Making His Life Much Easier
- Invisible Woman Can Pull Enemies In With Force Physics To Compliment Venom's Attack Range
- Venom Can Use Cellular Corrosion To Slow Enemies Who Have Been Pulled In
The short distance of Venom's basic attack can make him a difficult Vanguard to use when compared to his counterparts. Thankfully, Invisible Woman can make his life much easier thanks to her Force Physics ability, which can draw in enemies for Venom to either finish off with his tentacles or slow down with his Cellular Corrosion.
Invisible Woman can alternatively push people away from Venom if they start getting a little too trigger-happy, such as Wolverine for example, who can melt tank health bars if he's not dealt with quickly enough. Though an unlikely pairing, Venom and the Invisible Woman can be a deadly duo when teaming up.
5 Groot
A Defensive Duo Who Will Protect Their Team At Any Costs
- Invisible Woman Can Push And Pull Enemies To Coincide With Groot's Walls
- Groot's Spores Can Hit Multiple Enemies Who Are Pulled Together By Psionic Vortex
If players want to go for an ultra-defensive game plan to keep control of an objective, a good pairing to go with is Invisible Woman and Groot. While Invisible Woman can use her Guardian Shield to protect any Duelists who throw themselves into the thick of the action, Groot can use his walls to disorganize the enemy team, keeping them from working together as one.
Marvel Rivals: 8 Counters To Invisible Woman
Invisible Woman is an extremely difficult Strategist to pin down, but these characters can fare much better when taking her on in Marvel Rivals.
Skilled Invisible Women players will be able to use their Force Physics to maneuver enemies around Groot's walls, causing even more problems for the opposing team. For example, if she's able to push the healers away moments before Groot erects his walls, it will keep them separated from the rest of the team, turning them into sitting ducks for the rest of her allies to finish off.
6 Rocket Raccoon
Being Paired With An Agile Healer Like Rocket Means Invisible Woman Doesn't Need To Cover So Much Ground
- As A Mobile Healer, Rocket Can Follow Flankers While Invisible Woman Focuses On Frontline Allies
- Rocket's Damage-Buff Ultimate Works Well With Invisible Woman's AOE Invisibility
Though Invisible Woman can gift out plenty of healing to her teammates, she doesn't possess any significant mobility-based abilities that allow her to support everyone on the team at once while they are all separated. Rocket, however, thanks to his jetpack, can fly around the arena while dropping small healing bubbles for anyone he comes across, allowing Invisible Woman to prioritize the Vanguards and Duelists who are on the frontlines.
Another reason Rocket is such a good pairing with Invisible Woman is that he can provide damage buffs with his ultimate, while Invisible Woman focuses more on healing and stealth. After the latest patch, Rocket is being used a lot more thanks to his healing buff, making him a suitable second healer to throw onto the field when Invisible Woman is also present.
7 Wolverine
Wolverine Benefits Greatly From Invisible Woman's Defenses When He's Diving Head-First Into Battle
- Wolverine Can Gain More Defence When Rushing In With A Guardian Shield
- Invisible Woman Can Pull Healers Towards Wolverine To Set Up A Quick Kill
Wolverine is a Duelist who is all about diving into the fray and causing as much carnage as possible with his lethal claw attacks. While he's therefore a ton of fun to use, the downside is he can easily be taken down if the entire enemy team concentrates on him all at once, so being able to gift him a shield from afar to keep him topped up makes Invisible Woman a valuable ally for him to have.
Wolverine can also make some clever plays when Invisible Woman is on the team. If she can pull an enemy healer to the frontline, for example, it gives Wolverine the chance to score a valuable kill without even needing to leave himself exposed, which is just one of the many ways that these two can work in tandem.
8 Mister Fantastic
The Heads Of The Fantastic Family Complement One Another's Playstyles
- Invisible Woman Gains Boosted Healing When Mister Fantastic Is On The Battlefield
- Mister Fantastic Gains A Brief Shield When Paired With Invisible Woman
Right off the bat, having Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman on the same team will grant the latter a 15% healing bonus, which is a handy buff that can come in very useful during intense firefights. That's not all though, as Mister Fantastic will also gain a small bit of armor when he spawns, so long as Invisible Woman is on the field, making the two a real force to be reckoned with when on the same team.
Considering Fantastic is a fairly slow Duelist who excels at picking enemies off from mid-range and absorbing their fire with Reflexive Rubber, it means Invisible Woman doesn't need to go chasing him down to provide him with shields and healing. An effective strategy is positioning Mister Fantastic behind a Guardian Shield and then letting him extend his limbs to dish out damage while behind cover, or using his and Invisible Woman's ultimate attacks at the same time to devastate the enemy team before they even know what's hit them.
