Summary
- Namor surprises with a 51.61% win rate in Marvel Rivals quickplay, beating out other popular Duelists.
- Despite not being the strongest, Namor's tankiness and abilities make him a good counter to dive-Duelists in the game.
New official information shows that Namor has a surprising win rate in Marvel Rivals. Players can choose characters from the Vanguard, Strategist, and Duelist classes, the latter being one of the most popular. After all, Duelists are the damage dealers of Marvel Rivals teams and have a high potential for offense, clutch plays, and even defense.
In addition to their popularity, this is the most populous class in the NetEase shooter. While Marvel Rivals has only eight Strategists and Vanguards, the game has a whopping 19 Duelists. Iron Fist is one of the Duelists who quickly gained fame within the community for being incredibly strong, and being able to heal and walk on walls, making him a nightmare for opponents. Another very popular character is the Punisher, a Duelist who, as well as being simple to play, is extremely effective with his wide arsenal of weapons.
Marvel Rivals Player Gets Incredible Triple Kill With Iron Man
With the help of a teammate, a Marvel Rivals player turns what seemed like a missed attack into an incredible triple kill while playing Iron Man.
However, Namor is the surprise with a win rate of 51.61% in quickplay, one of Marvel Rivals' modes. According to the game's official website, Namor's win rate corresponds to both PC and console players. In quickplay, he is behind other Duelists such as Hela (52.86%), and Magik (52.67%). Meanwhile, Duelists with higher usage, such as Moon Knight, Iron Man, and Punisher, appear respectively, with win rates of 47.52%, 49.06%, and 46.46%. Although not the strongest Duelist, playing as Namor is a good counter to dive-Duelists by becoming incredibly tanky with the Blessing of the Deep, and the creatures summoned by the Aquatic Domination ability, which act as turrets.
