NetEase Games has revealed fresh gameplay of the upcoming Presidential Attire skin for Loki in Marvel Rivals, which is scheduled to release on March 13 at 7 PM PDT. While there's still plenty of time left in the first season of Marvel Rivals, many gamers are already discussing Season 2 and which heroes might be on the way. So far, a large portion of the community believes Blade will be the title's next playable character.
As one of Marvel Rivals' Strategists, Loki plays a critical role when added to any team. The cunning Asgardian has the unique ability to create clones of himself, amplifying his ability to harm enemies and heal allies. He can even swap places with these copies, making it difficult for foes to pinpoint his exact location. The trickster god also has an ultimate ability that allows him to become any hero currently on the battlefield, which can prove to be quite powerful in just about any situation.
Players Think Marvel Rivals Is Doing One Thing Better Than the MCU
Marvel Rivals players think NetEase Games' popular hero shooter is doing one thing more successfully than recent MCU movies and shows.
In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games gave players their first glimpse of gameplay for Loki's upcoming Presidential Attire skin, which will be available in the shop on March 13 at 7 PM PDT. The costume shows the villain wearing a bright green suit with a dark coat that has campaign pins attached to it. Marvel Rivals' Loki can also be seen wielding a cane instead of his usual scepter, though he's still donning his signature golden headpiece with long curved horns.
Marvel Rivals Shared Gameplay of Loki’s ‘Presidential Attire’ Skin
The Presidential Attire skin in Marvel Rivals is based on a comic book storyline where the Asgardian ran to become America's next leader. President Loki is also one of the trickster god's variants in the hit show Loki. The costume was previously available during Marvel Rivals' beta tests but hasn't been seen since then. As of writing, there's no official word on just how much the skin or its accompanying bundle will cost.
Loki's new skin will debut alongside the Goddess of Thunder skin for Storm in Marvel Rivals, which shows the hero wielding the hammer Stormcaster and donning Asgardian armor. Gamers looking to acquire more cosmetics can also work on completing challenges for Galacta's Cosmic Adventure, a limited-time event with free rewards that include the Mrs. Barnes skin for Black Widow. NetEase Games also announced new Twitch Drops that will give players the opportunity to claim a fresh costume for the Strategist Adam Warlock. With a wealth of cosmetics to enjoy and more content on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
