In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games gave players their first look at the new Retro X-Uniform skin for Marvel Rivals' Namor, which will come to the game's shop on May 15 at 7 PM PDT. The new costume has the popular Duelist donning a classic blue and yellow X-Men uniform with black accents. The outfit manages to blend the classic X-Men look with Namor's armor on his shoulders and forearms. According to the popular leaker RivalsPsylocke on Twitter, the Retro X-Uniform skins for Namor will cost 1,600 Units when it makes its debut in the shop.

Namor isn't the only Duelist receiving fresh cosmetics, as The Punisher in Marvel Rivals will be getting a new Dangan Ronin costume, which was designed by the popular artist Peach Momoko. The outfit shows The Punisher in purple Japanese-themed armor with his iconic skull on the front of his chest. The new costume also changes the look of the hero's weapons, ultimate ability, turret, and more. RivalPsylocke has claimed that the Dangan Ronin costume for The Punisher will cost 2,200 Units when it comes to the shop on May 15 at 7 PM PDT.

NetEase Games made some waves within the community recently, as it announced that it would be bringing Chrono Shield Cards to Marvel Rivals. The initial details about the item were sparse. Some gamers thought the Chrono Shield Cards would be purchasable with real money, which isn't the case. The developers clarified that only players who are Gold rank or lower can benefit from Chrono Shield Cards, which relieved a lot of people. Chrono Shield Cards are similar to Chrono Shield Tokens, which stop players from losing points after being defeated in a Competitive match.
