Like most live-service games out there, Marvel Rivals has multiple currencies. The two main currencies you’ll be needing most of the time are Units and Lattice. Units are the regular currency that you’ll use to buy new costumes, items, and other goodies that aren't available through the battle pass, events, or special codes. On the other hand, Lattice is the premium currency that is mostly used to buy battle pass coins. If you’re wondering how to earn both of these currencies in Marvel Rivals, this guide has got you covered.

How To Get Units in Marvel Rivals

How To Get More Units in Marvel Rivals

Units are a primary currency used to purchase a variety of cosmetic skins in Marvel Rivals. There are four different ways you can get Units:

Progress in the Battle Pass

The most reliable way to earn Units in Marvel Rivals is by progressing through the battle pass. Completing daily missions and other challenges will reward you with Chrono Tokens, which can then be redeemed for various battle pass rewards, including Units. In the debut season pass, Season 0: Chronovium, you can claim a total of 300 Units as you progress.

Season Event Mission Rewards

Another effective way to get more Units is by participating in season events like the Entangled Moments event at launch. Completing specific event missions will reward you with small bundles of Units.

Achievement Milestones

You can earn a bunch of Units through achievements, which can be accessed through your profile in the top-right corner. Each achievement track offers unique rewards at various milestones.

For example, the ongoing Heroic Journey path rewards you with 500 Units and the Ivory Breeze skin for Storm upon completion. To finish the Heroic Journey track, you'll need to earn 240 achievement points by completing a range of objectives.

Converting Lattice

Lastly, you can convert Lattice, the premium currency in Marvel Rivals, into Units. The exchange ratio is 1:1, meaning one Lattice equals one unit.

You’ll get the option to use Lattice whenever you attempt to buy an item without sufficient Units, but you can also convert it manually by selecting your Units in the top-right corner of the store page.

How To Get Lattice in Marvel Rivals

Since it’s a premium currency, Lattice is only available through real-money purchases. You can either buy Lattice directly from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, or Steam or earn it as a reward in the Battle Pass each season.

The amount of Lattice you earn through the Battle Pass might vary from season to season.

However, you need to spend Lattice to buy the Battle Pass in the first place, so you have no other choice but to purchase Lattice whenever you need it. You can get 100 Lattice for $0.99, which is a great deal. The more you spend, the more Lattice you can get in Marvel Rivals.
