In Marvel Rivals, one of the biggest appeals to players is the vast roster of heroes and villains across three playable roles, and the various skins for each of these characters. Plenty of new skins are added throughout each season, with many different ways of obtaining them. This includes the likes of in-game challenge rewards, event rewards, shop purchases, and Twitch drops.

As the dev continues to add new updates and features to the game, new in-game items such as the Rename Card are added. One such item is the Costume Coin, which was first added as part of the Pick-Up Bundle. This item is a new way for players to obtain skins on their Marvel Rivals accounts, so knowing how to obtain them and how they can be used will come in handy. For this reason, all relevant information regarding this time has been outlined in the guide below.

How to Get & Use Costume Coins in Marvel Rivals

In Marvel Rivals, Costume Coins are a new type of currency first introduced in the Pick-Up Bundle. This item enables the player to redeem the coin in exchange for one free hero skin of their choice from a list of available options. These options usually involve skins from prior seasons, consisting of Season 0 release skins. However, there is always the possibility that as the game continues to age, more skins will be added to this list to expand the Costume Coin catalog.

Costume Coins are traditionally available through limited-time events, such as the Pick-Up Bundle, Combat Chest, and Venom's Bubble Pop. Players can obtain their Costume Coins as rewards from tracks within these events, meaning players need to complete missions to gain them. There is no limit to Costume Coins held on your account at a time, so you can store them while you decide which skins you would like to buy. However, it is very likely that Costume Coins will continue to be a popular reward in events such as these throughout each season, so players should definitely make the most of them if there is a cosmetic available that catches their eye.

Costume Coins only unlock the skin for that character. For the complete bundle, including emotes and MVP intro that usually come with each skin, players will need to make a separate purchase via in-game or real currencies.
