A popular Marvel Rivals leaker recently revealed that the game's files contain pre-match voice lines of existing heroes interacting with Rogue and Gambit. NetEase Games has announced that it will be releasing Marvel Rivals' major Season 2.5 update on May 30, which will introduce a variety of new features and cosmetics to the popular hero shooter.

Marvel Rivals' May 30 update will also add the villain Ultron to the game as a playable character, which has many gamers excited. Ultron will become the game's newest Strategist, with the ability to both heal allies and harm enemies. He'll also be one of the title's flying heroes, similar to characters like Storm and Iron Man. While many fans are looking forward to getting their hands on Ultron, others are already concerned that he may be too weak when compared to other Strategists. Several people raised concerns about the upcoming hero after watching early access footage where content creators were able to play as Ultron.

In a couple of recent posts on Twitter, the prominent dataminer X0X_LEAK revealed some pre-match voice lines related to the mutant characters Rogue and Gambit in Marvel Rivals. These conversations are currently one-sided, as the official voice work for Gambit and Rogue doesn't seem to be in the game's files. Characters can be heard interacting with Gambit in a variety of ways. For instance, Storm speaks of "simpler times" and calls him Remy, which showcases the familiarity the two characters have with one another. Meanwhile, other heroes like Peni Parker refer to the mutant as Gambit and ask about his deck of cards.

Rogue and Gambit May Be Coming to Marvel Rivals

When characters address Rogue in Marvel Rivals, they regularly reference her ability to steal the powers of those around her. When having a conversation with Rogue, Rocket Raccoon even asks if she has the ability to steal people's memories. Meanwhile, Storm seems to have the most informal interaction again, as she makes a reference to Gambit and Rogue being a couple.

It was also recently teased that the popular X-Men hero Jubilee could be coming to Marvel Rivals. After completing the Hellfire Gala Moments event, players unlock access to a Gallery Card titled "Night of the Year." The Gallery Card gives players a glimpse into a conversation between Emma Frost and Betty Brant, where the mutant mentions that Jubilee is currently lost in the Timestream Entanglement. While there's no way of knowing when the hero could actually arrive, a lot of players think she could show up sooner rather than later. With so much content to enjoy and even more on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
