A popular Marvel Rivals leaker recently revealed gameplay footage of a new skin supposedly titled Wasteland Hulk, which could be coming to the game in the near future. As of this writing, there's no way to tell how this skin might debut within Marvel Rivals. While Wasteland Hulk could make its way to the game's shop, it could also be released as part of a battle pass or a promotional event.
Hulk is one of Marvel Rivals' Vanguards, meaning his primary role is to soak up damage while protecting teammates from harm. The character is somewhat unique, as he has three forms: Bruce Banner, Hero Hulk, and Monster Hulk. Each variation has its own unique abilities, with some overlap between Hulk's Hero and Monster transformations. When starting a match, players spawn as Bruce Banner with the ability to instantly activate their ultimate to turn into Hero Hulk. Gamers then need to refill their ultimate meter to turn into the powerful Monster Hulk for a short period of time. Fans have expressed that they would like NetEase Games to allow players to spawn as Hero Hulk instead of Bruce Banner in Marvel Rivals.
Marvel Rivals Leak Reveals New MCU Doctor Strange Skin
A prominent Marvel Rivals leaker reveals a first look at a highly anticipated Doctor Strange skin inspired by one of his iconic MCU costumes.
RivalsInfo recently posted leaked gameplay footage of a new Marvel Rivals skin on Twitter titled Wasteland Hulk. In his first form, Bruce Banner has a neon green mohawk, a purple vest with splotches of paint on it, and tattoos spread across his body. When the hero transforms, large spikes erupt from his back and arms, giving him something of a porcupine appearance. The new form is also incredibly bulky and less muscular than his default skin. The video does not show a third version of Hulk, leading some players to speculate that the large, spiked transformation is actually Monster Hulk instead of Hero Hulk. Unfortunately, there's no way to confirm or deny such theories without more information. RivalsInfo has been busy digging through the game's files, as they also recently revealed new skins for Marvel Rivals' Scarlet Witch.
Marvel Rivals Leaker Reveals Gameplay Footage of New Wasteland Hulk Skin
Fans eagerly awaiting new cosmetics likely won't have to wait long, as leakers have shown off new skins for Moon Knight and Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rivals. They believe the skins are associated with the Lunar New Year and have speculated that even more characters will receive cosmetics with a similar theme very soon. Some fans are expecting to see a wide range of new items with the launch of Season 1 in January 2025.
While a large portion of the community is excited to see new cosmetics come to the game, many fans have criticized the price of MCU skins in Marvel Rivals. The popular hero shooter has released several top-tier original bundles for around $22, while MCU skins with similar properties debuted at $26. Some fans of the MCU skins feel the markup is arbitrary and want NetEase Games to lower the price. Despite these criticisms, many fans are clamoring for more cosmetics in the game's shop.
