Marvel Rivals has revealed that a new Convoy map called Arakko will be coming to the popular hero shooter with the upcoming Season 2.5 update on May 30. NetEase Games recently announced that it would be launching its major mid-season update at the end of May, which will bring a wide variety of new features and balance changes to Marvel Rivals.

It was also recently revealed that players will have the opportunity to earn a free skin for Hawkeye in Marvel Rivals. The skin is called Binary Arrow, and it gives the Duelist a mechanical makeover. Parts of Hawkeye have been fully replaced by machinery, as this version of the hero has been infected with a virus from Ultron. Gamers will be able to earn the skin on May 30 when the Season 2.5 update launches with a fresh Cerebro Database 2 event. The first Cerebro Database event rewarded players with a free skin for Mantis at the beginning of Season 2.

NetEase Games has released a trailer that gives players their first look at the upcoming convoy map Arakko, which is scheduled to make its debut as part of the major Season 2.5 update coming to Marvel Rivals on May 30. Arakko is the sister island of Krakoa, a map that was introduced at the very beginning of Season 2. However, Arakko has been completely taken over by the villain Ultron, giving the island a lifeless and machine-infested appearance. Metal walls, machinery, and red lights dominate the landscape of this map, creating an aesthetic unlike anything players have seen in the game so far.

In addition to being a figure on the Arakko map, Ultron will be a playable character with the launch of Season 2.5. NetEase Games recently showcased Ultron's full ability kit in Marvel Rivals, giving players a look at what the flying Strategist can do. His primary ability appears to be a beam that shoots from his right hand, which can both harm enemies and heal allies. The Strategist also has a team-up ability with Iron Man that allows this beam to pierce both enemies and allies, dishing out damage and healing simultaneously. His ultimate has surprised many fans, as he seems to summon copies of himself to deliver explosive strikes that harm enemies while healing teammates.

The season 2.5 update will also come with numerous balance changes in Marvel Rivals, though the community has had mixed reactions to what has been announced. Many players seem to be upset about the nerfs to Thor and Jeff the Land Shark. Both heroes are being reworked in significant ways, making major changes to how their current abilities function. With so much content to enjoy and even more on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
