- Fans are asking NetEase Games to rework the way some characters reload their abilities in Marvel Rivals.
- Season 2's battle pass contains free skins for Magik and Iron Fist.
- Some players would like the ability to toggle hero masks in the popular shooter.
Marvel Rivals fans have asked NetEase Games to consider changing the way some characters are forced to reload their main attack, even when they aren't using a weapon. NetEase Games recently launched Season 2 of Marvel Rivals, which added both the Vanguard Emma Frost and a new map of Krakoa to the title.
Many gamers seem to be enjoying the battle pass for Season 2: Hellfire Gala, which even gives players the ability to earn two free skins for Magik and Iron Fist in Marvel Rivals. While paying to unlock the full battle pass grants fans all of its rewards, some costumes and accessories are still available for those to level up the free version of the pass by earning Chrono Tokens.
Marvel Rivals Has Seemingly 'Buffed' Male Character Designs
Marvel Rivals fans are noticing that after the Season 2 update, several male character models have an interesting design buff at the rear.
In a recent post on Reddit, noxenith asked why a character that uses a staff to wield magic would need to reload their main ability. This is something that has been floating around in the community for quite some time. While it makes sense for characters like Marvel Rivals' Rocket Raccoon or Winter Soldier to reload their gun, it's a little perplexing as to why Invisible Woman's attack, which functions like a boomerang, would suffer from the same limitation. Many gamers have asked the developers to consider changing this, as they find it frustrating that a character like Emma Frost would need to reload a psychic attack that relies on her mind alone.
Marvel Rivals Players Are Frustrated by Some Heroes’ Need to Reload
One person pointed out that Groot needs to reload his main attack while Mister Fantastic does not. Both characters use an outstretched melee power to hit enemies directly in front of them, but Mister Fantastic has the added utility of being able to sweep his attack from side to side to hit additional foes. Ultimately, there isn't necessarily a lore-accurate reason as to why heroes like Marvel Rivals' Storm need to reload their abilities. Instead, it's likely necessary to keep the battlefield balanced, since some have to reload while others do not.
Numerous players have also asked NetEase Games to add the ability to toggle masks in Marvel Rivals. The request came after a gamer pointed out that they would like to have the ability to remove the mask from heroes like Spider-Man and Black Panther, whether they're using the default skins or not. Many people seemed to agree that it would be an interesting feature, as the developers already seem to have worked on face models for each hero. With so much content to enjoy and even more updates on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
