In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games revealed that it will be adding a new team-up to Marvel Rivals as part of its collaboration with the upcoming MCU film The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The new "First Steps" team-up allows Human Torch to pick up The Thing and soar over the battlefield. After flying through the sky, The Thing can then drop on top of his foes, dishing out some serious damage. It's a unique team-up with an animation that looks very similar to a moment shown off in a recent trailer for the film.

In addition to releasing a new team-up, a fresh set of Fantastic Four cosmetics will be coming to Marvel Rivals. The new skins for Mister Fantastic, Human Torch, The Thing, and Invisible Woman are modeled after the group's appearance in the upcoming film The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which is scheduled to release in theaters on July 25. The skins themselves will be available in Marvel Rivals on July 24 at 7 PM PDT. While the outfits aren't identical, they all feature a powder blue color scheme with white accents.

Players looking to collect even more cosmetics may be happy to know that NetEase Games has officially launched Marvel Rivals' Summer Special event. As part of the pass, gamers can earn Thor's Worthy Waves skins for free. Those looking to claim new skins for The Thing and Luna Snow will need to purchase the premium version of the pass with Lattice. In addition, Psylocke and Loki have received new summer skins that are available in the game's shop for a limited time.
