Marvel Rivals' Season 0 Battle Pass features four tiers of cosmetic rewards. Each tier comes with an exclusive skin, giving The Punisher, Doctor Strange, Hela, and Mantis some impressively detailed outfits. Purchasing the Luxury Battle Pass also instantly unlocks a Black Panther costume. These skins range from comic-inspired outfits to original creations, and all are worth picking up for fans of the respective heroes and villains.
Along with the five outfits, Marvel Rivals' Season 0 Battle Pass comes with a bevy of other cosmetic goodies, such as nameplates, emotes, sprays, and MVP intros, all of which are themed around the five skins. This first battle pass will also award players with some in-game currency (both Lattices and Units) which can be used to purchase skins in the store, and be used towards the purchase of Marvel Rivals' next battle pass.
The high quality of its skins, its equally high quality MVP intros, and its decent supply of in-game currency makes Marvel Rivals' Season 0 Battle Pass a worthwhile purchase for those enjoying the game's launch, and it sets a great precedent for the game's next battle pass.

Marvel Rivals' Approach to Its First Battle Pass Was Smart
With Marvel Rivals' first season being a much shorter duration than those coming in the near future, developer NetEase has made the smart decision to price its shorter battle pass accordingly. Marvel Rivals' Season 0 Battle Pass costs just $5, which is pretty reasonable considering the number of rewards players get for their money. This smaller price tag is also a great way to encourage players to test out Marvel Rivals' battle pass system, letting them get a feel for its loop for a fraction of the usual cost.
NetEase has also confirmed that Marvel Rivals' battle passes will be permanently unlocked, meaning that players can continue unlocking a pass' rewards long after the season ends. This is a real win-win for NetEase and its player-base, with players being allowed to take their time to earn the rewards they've paid for, while NetEase maintains its steady flow of income.
