Marvel Rivals has revealed the patch notes for Season 4, which will start on September 12. The update introducing the next season of Marvel Rivals will see the debut of two anticipated heroes, new features, and the usual hero balancing to keep the game fair and engaging for all players.
Titled The Abyss Awakens, the third Marvel Rivals season began on July 11. Confirming previous rumors, the game welcomed new Duelists Phoenix and Blade, making the vampire hunter's debut finally official. Since the season's theme is related to symbiotes, NetEase added the maps Klyntar: Celestial Husk and Klyntar: Throne of Knull. To spice up the gameplay, Marvel Rivals introduced the limited-time Resource Rumble mode, with a variant of the Domination mode. Marvel Rivals Season 3 will soon come to an end, and now the game has shared what's coming next.
Marvel Rivals Season 4’s Daredevil is Not Exactly Daredevil
After months of anticipation for Daredevil’s debut in Marvel Rivals, NetEase has revealed its take on Matt Murdock, and he’s shockingly different.
Marvel Rivals has released the patch notes for the Season 4 update, which will be released on Friday, September 12. Titled Heart of the Dragon, the new Marvel Rivals season will add Angela and Daredevil as new playable characters. Angela will be the game's next Vanguard, and can transform her Ichors into different weapons or a shield to block incoming damage. Accompanying her debut, two skin bundles and one emoji bundle will be added to the in-game store. New cosmetics will be up for grabs in the Fruit of Immortality battle pass, with a preview of upcoming outfits for Moon Knight, Loki, and the Phoenix available.
When the new season begins, Marvel Rivals will make its usual competitive rank reset and award Angela-Siriana's Silver skin to players who reach Gold as a reward. Several new systems will be introduced, including a new emoji wheel to let players equip more emojis and use them in extra situations. Marvel Rivals' College Perks will be updated with 10 new skins, including the popular Spider-Man Spider-Punk 2099 and Loki Presidential Attire for students to equip in matches.
Season 4 has even more in store to keep players interested in Marvel Rivals, as they will be able to earn a skin for Ultron by participating in the Scroll of the Immortal Beasts event. Blade's Will of Galacta skin and its bundle, in turn, will be given away as part of the new Twitch Drops. In addition, Marvel Rivals will be released for PlayStation 4 around the same time, bringing the game to a previous-generation console for the first time.
