Marvel Rivals: Summer Special Event Guide

One of the features that draws players in and keeps them coming back to Marvel Rivals is the numerous themed events that take place throughout each Competitive Season. These events generally involve completing missions to unlock various rewards, such as in-game currencies, sprays, nameplates, mood bundles, emojis, and even hero cosmetics and MVPs related to each event theme.

Summer Special Event Guide in Marvel RIvals

In Marvel Rivals, the Summer Special event is automatically made available to every player who logs into the game, with progress checks available from the button on the main menu. This event runs for a limited time between July 17, 2025, and August 15, 2025. The event features multiple pages of free and premium reward tracks, similar to the mini Battle Pass-like approach previously seen in Venom's Bubble Pop.

Players automatically have access to the rewards and can progress by simply playing matches of the game in their eligible mode of choice (usually Quick Match or Competitive Play). As they continue to complete each match, they will gain XP to progress the unlock bar for the next track. All free rewards will automatically be unlocked and can be claimed by clicking the icon on the track.

Players can also choose to purchase the Premium Summer Special track to gain a series of additional rewards as they work their way through each page. In the case that they choose to come back and upgrade to Premium later, all previous Premium rewards that they have surpassed will automatically unlock and will become ready to claim.
