The Destroy mechanic in Marvel Snap can be pretty terrifying to both the opponent and even the deck's user if they're not careful. That said, there aren't too many full Destroy decks in Pool 1 due to a lack of access to the better Destroy-centric cards like Deadpool.
Most of them (that are worth anything) tend to be a sort of a hybrid between a Destroy and Discard deck or a Destroy and Devil Dinosaur Meta deck. But, this is about the best Destroy-focused Pool 1 deck in Marvel Snap.

Now right off the bat, players have likely noticed that cards like Blue Marvel, America Chavez, Ironheart, Sentinel, Mister Sinister, and even Squirrel Girl aren't centered around Destroy. That's half the deck, so how is this even really a Destroy deck? Well, let's individually break down why, card by card, from lowest to highest cost:
- Squirrel Girl is there to flood locations with cards for Carnage to eat up or for Deathlok to destroy without worrying about losing anything worthwhile.
- Mister Sinister allows for some early Carnage synergy since it's two cards in one.
- Sentinel is an infinitely replenishing unit in case things aren't going well with the other cards.
- Ironheart is just there for the On Reveal effect and can be destroyed right after or fed to Carnage.
- Blue Marvel is a field-wide buff on any cards left standing.
- And America Chavez only shows up on turn 6, which lets the player work through the rest of their deck without worrying about a 6-Cost bogging them down the whole time.
Obviously, the main characters of this deck are Carnage and Wolverine, with a well-timed Elektra taking third place (who is replaced with Gambit in future Pools). Even if all three of these cards are shut down or countered, players can still sometimes eke out a win using the high-cost cards in here.
Now it's not perfect, and there are alternative options for this Deck such as replacing Blue Marvel and America Chavez with Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. But, on average, this is generally the strongest a Destroy deck is going to be in the first Pool of cards available in Marvel Snap.
