Cassandra Nova is an excellent fit for a Darkhawk deck with some disruptive elements. To create such a lineup, unite the following cards: Cassandra Nova, Darkhawk, Korg, Rockslide, Ajax, Beast, Scorpion, Angela, Sang-Chi, Kitty Pryde, Luke Cage, and Black Widow.
In this setup, the disruptive trio—Korg, Rockslide, and Black Widow—add to Cassandra’s overall buff. Scorpion doubles down on her debuff, while Ajax benefits from her negative Power infliction to grow stronger.
How to Get Cassandra Nova
You can unlock Cassandra Nova for free through the Deadpool’s Diner event until August 5th. To obtain her, you will need to collect 15 million Bubs (the event’s currency). After that, Cassandra will join the Token Shop as a Series Five card, which you can purchase for 6,000 Tokens.
The Deadpool’s Diner event tracks your progress based on lifetime Bub earnings. Therefore, losing Bubs in matches won’t affect your progress toward unlocking more rewards.

You want to drop Cassandra as early as possible to maximize her buff and inflict the most damage. A good strategy is to exploit Cassandra’s effect using disruption and bounce cards. Characters like Korg, Rockslide, and Black Widow boost her buff, while cards like Beast, Falcon, or Odin allow you to retrigger her effect multiple times.

- Cassandra “steals” power. So, any card that’s hit with her effect will lose one power, and if you retrigger her effect, they will lose even more.
- Cassandra is an Arishem killer. No other Marvel Snap card that can counterplay Arishem better than Cassandra Nova.

How to Counter Cassandra Nova
Cassandra is vulnerable to the metagame tech trio: Shadow King, Shang-Chi, and Cosmo. Among these, the worst counterplay for Cassandra is Shadow King, as he not only removes her buff but also restores the lost Power of the enemy’s cards.
