In Marvel Snap, a Token Shop Tier List is a ranking system that determines what cards to unlock first. It divides rotating Pool 3, 4, and 5 cards at the shop into four categories: S-Tier, A-Tier, B-Tier, and C-Tier, with S being the most valuable and C being the least.

Pool 4 & 5 Token Shop Tier List

Series 4 and 5 cards cost much more than Pool 3 counterparts in the Token Shop (3,000 for Series 4 cards and 6,000 for Series 5). However, they have four S-Tier cards worth the money: Shuri, Silver Surfer, Thanos, and Darkhawk. Bast, Galactus, Valkyrie, and Luke Cage are also good B-Tier choices.

How to Buy the Best Card at the Token Shop

marvel-snap-red-skull-thanos-she-hulk-nerfs

The best card to get at the Token Shop is the one with an archetype or ability that matches one's play style. For example, a player with Discard deck proficiency would benefit from unlocking Dracula rather than She-Hulk.

Before unlocking any cards with Collectors Tokens, players should ask themselves these questions:

  • How are this card’s abilities going to help the decks?
  • What deck archetype would benefit from this card?
  • Does this card have any budget counterparts from lower Pools?

In Marvel Snap, most cards—especially those in Series 3 to 5—are worth getting. Ultimately though, it’s the player’s needs that determine which one to get first. While a Token Shop Tier List could help players to invest in powerful cards, it’s not the best manual for deck completion. Players are better off creating their own Tier Lists based on the archetypes and abilities they’re already mastering.
