There's a decent selection of mechs to choose from in Mecha BREAK, but not all of them are available from the start. Players will have 12 Strikers unlocked by default, and if they want to get more, they'll need to get hefty amounts of Mission Tokens.

Previously, players needed to spend either Matrix Credits or Corite in Mecha BREAK in order to get new mechs, but as of the 1.0 release, locked Strikers must be purchased with Mission Tokens instead. Getting the latter is a little different, and if you want to unlock a new mech as quickly as possible, here's a guide to help you out.

Mecha Break: How to Get & Use Mods

Mods can help you calibrate even the finest of details of your Striker in Mecha Break. Here's how you can farm for them.

Where to Get Mission Tokens in Mecha BREAK

Mecha BREAK Mission Token reward

You can get Mission Tokens just by playing any of Mecha BREAK's three game modes, but there's a catch — you must queue for Matchmaking Mode, not Casual Mode. The latter is what one would consider an Unranked queue in other games, while the former is a Ranked queue where players are matched with others near the same skill level.

Every time you complete a match, you'll get a small amount of Mission Tokens. The value you get depends on a number of factors, though it's usually tied to your personal performance and whether or not you won that match. With that being said, you'll want to focus on playing well in any mode if you want to get as many Mission Tokens as possible.

If you aren't confident enough to get a high KDA during a match, focus on playing with the team, completing objectives, and sticking with one or two mechs that you're comfortable with.

Completing Tactical Station Missions

While you're grinding out games, make sure to take a look at the available missions on the Tactical Station screen. You can have up to six missions active at a time, and when you complete them, you'll get an ample Mission Token reward for your troubles.

You'll want to be very picky when it comes to selecting a mission. Most will require you to play specific Strikers in Mecha BREAK, while others will ask you to play specific Strikers on specific maps. The latter sort of missions will take much longer, as there's no telling if you're going to get the right map or play the right mech on that map.

Events and Log-in Rewards

Mecha BREAK Ace Conquest rewards

There will always be events that you can participate in to get a variety of rewards, and that may include Mission Tokens. As of writing, the Ace Conquest will give players 2,600 Mission Tokens once they complete all the event's challenges.

Additionally, simply logging into the game should net you some Mission Tokens as well. The amount isn't much, but it definitely adds up to the rest of the tokens you get everywhere else.
