Gamers will come across several boomboxes in Megabonk, and when they interact with them, it may seem like they have no effects. However, they do have a purpose; players just need to find them all in order to figure out what it is. This guide will tell players what they need to know about finding the boomboxes in Megabonk.

How to Find All Boomboxes in Megabonk

While exploring the Forest in Megabonk, players will come across several boomboxes. They can press E to interact with them, but nothing will happen at first. If players find all boomboxes in Megabonk, they will gain access to a tool that lets them change the soundtrack of a run before they begin.

Just like most spawnables in Megabonk, boombox placements are completely random. However, they only appear in the Forest. Players who want to find all boomboxes in Megabonk will have to locate them and interact with them before the final swarm eliminates them.

The best way to find all boomboxes before time runs out is to use Calcium, as it is the character in Megabonk that can build the most speed, select Forest Tier 1, invest in the Agility Tome to go even faster, and explore the map. As soon as players spot a boombox, they should approach it and interact with it. Gamers will know that all boomboxes have been collected when the Boombox achievement pops up in the upper left corner of their screen.

How to Change Map Music in Megabonk

Once players complete the Boombox quest in General Quests by finding all boomboxes on the Forest map, the Boombox item will become available in the Shop for 5 Silver. To change the map soundtrack in Megabonk, players must purchase the Boombox, and then when selecting the character the map for their run, they'll also have a music option. Here, they can choose between Random or a preferred track.
