Silent Hill f is filled with puzzles that either require players to use observation and solve riddles, or to find key items to progress forward. The Memories belongs in the latter category, which players will encounter towards the end of the Worship Hall section. After deciding the fate of her two friends, Hinako must not complete a final challenge and find either one or multiple items that belong to Shu. Shu's Prized Possessions Locations in Silent Hill f (Memories Puzzle Solution)
To start the Memories puzzle in Silent Hill f, you'll need to complete Rinko and Sakuko's torment chambers in Worship Hall. Once you use the Tri-Scale Emblem and the White Rabbit Emblem Keys, the pathway will open, leading to a showroom with Shu's prized possessions displayed. One or multiple items from the podiums will be missing, and the goal of the Memories is to find them.
If you have Story, Hard, or Lost in the Fog puzzle difficulties, you'll need to find one, two, or three of Shu's prized possessions, respectively. You'll find all the Shu's item locations marked on the map above. So, pick up the note next to the large double doors to start the puzzle.

Now, enter the sliding doors to the left of the note to head inside a dimly lit hallway. There are a few enemies inside the hallway that will block your path, so focus on eliminating them first before proceeding.
Turn right from the corridor to spot a creature that moves to the right. Follow this creature to end up in a dead end. Defeat the creature, and you'll find a candle-lit table-top with the drawing of young Hinako sitting on top. The drawing will only be available to collect if you're playing in Hard or Lost in the Fog puzzle difficulties.
Birthing Mother Mini-Boss Encounter
After going through two gates, players will enter a boss arena with the Birthing Mother mini-boss in Silent Hill f, which will send her monster spawn after you. The boss fight itself is relatively simple, but it can get exceedingly harder depending on your action difficulty. The boss will launch the following attacks against Hinko.

If Hinako moves too close to the boss, it'll push its body forward and hit Hinako with it. |
Make sure to land a few hits on the boss, then quickly create some distance between you and it to avoid getting hit. |

Stun Shriek |
Periodically during the boss encounter, the Birthing Mother will unleash a (AOE) shriek that will temporarily stun Hinako and deplete her max Sanity. |
This attack is almost unavoidable, but the impact can be lessened depending on how far Hinako is from the boss. |
Raygun Location (Shu's Prized Possessions)
Once the boss is defeated, you'll spot some open medical cabinets in the boss arena on the first floor. Go near the open cabinets to find the Raygun in one of them. The Raygun will only appear if you're playing on the Lost in the Fog puzzle difficulty.
Brainiac Hero Comic Location (Shu's Prized Possessions)
Once you're done on the first floor, head upstairs and turn right to find the Brainiac Hero Comic lying on the table, opposite the fox gate switch. This item will appear in all puzzle difficulties. After collecting the comic, interact with the lever opposite to it to open the door to a shortcut that will lead players back to the Memories starting area in Silent Hill f.
Place all of Shu's prized possessions onto the podiums to finish the Memories puzzle and complete the Worship Hall chapter.
