The Chyornaya Peschera Caves can be a true hellscape to traverse through in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater, especially if players are unequipped with the best tools possible that help them see through the dark. There are a few ways to get light sources in the caves of MGS Snake Eater, but the most effective way to see where you're going to progress further through the area to your objective is through Night Vision Goggles. Below, players will find the exact location of the Night Vision Goggles in MGS Delta Snake Eater so that they can make their way out of the caves with ease.
Where to Find Night Vision Goggles (NVG) in MGS Snake Eater
The video above showcases a direct route from spawn to the NVGs!
After a boss fight with Revolver Ocelot, a cutscene will begin, and players will then take control of Snake from within the Chyornaya Peschera Cave Branch. Upon entering the cave, players will hardly be able to see a thing until Snake's eyes adjust, but even then, the cave system is still pretty dark. As soon as players spawn in the caves, head to the right cavern, and then the immediate left path. Keep to the left to enter through a squeeze in the cave walls, and then follow the ramp up to the right, where you will need to go prone and crawl through a gap in the wall. On the other side, head through the other gap in the wall, and upon exiting, there will be the Night Vision Goggles and ammo for the AK-47.
Above is the map location of the NVGs so players know exactly where they are.
