Metaphor: ReFantazio has a fairly complex combat system derived from the press-turn combat system of Shin Megami Tensei. In it, players are given a lot of tools that can allow their party to face much stronger opponents as long as they have the right build and strategy.

That being said, leveling up increases your base stats and can also play a huge role in making any fight easier. Here are some of the best places to farm for XP in the final month of the game to have you ready for the final boss.

Best Endgame Farming Spot Before The Final Dungeon Of Metaphor: ReFantazio

If you're looking for an optional place to farm that is excellent for MP management, head to the Spire of Blind Faith found at the southernmost point of the map. During the final month of the game and while trying to complete the Trials Of The Dragon, the upper floors of this tower will open up, offering much stronger monsters to fight. You'll face a lot of Malmorta skeleton enemies that are level 67, who are easy to take down if you have Light and Strike skills.

The top floor before the dragon also has a level 73 Homo Luano, another great enemy to farm for decent XP. What makes this tower stand out from the rest is the floor that has about fifty low-level skeletons guarding a Faith Magileto. Equip an Archetype of the Mage lineage and farm this floor to restore MP whenever needed, letting you stay and grind in this tower no matter what level you are for as long as needed. After reaching Plato at the top of the tower, use the Leave option to return to the entrance and respawn all enemies in the tower, climbing back up to Plato on repeat as many times as necessary.

The Devourer Of Flames is the dragon at the top of the tower, and you'll need to properly prepare before taking it on.

The final stretch of Metaphor: ReFantazio can be difficult; here is the best party to take on even the most challenging bosses.

The Best Final XP Farming Spot In Metaphor: ReFantazio

The best place to farm XP is of course in the very final dungeon of the game, Tyrant's Star. Proceed to the final area of the second map right before you actually face Louis. Right before the checkpoint will be two Melancholia Crystals that both spawn three high-level humans a piece. Once you get to a level you can kill them in the open world, these two crystals become the best place to farm XP in the game, as they are the highest level naturally spawning enemies in the game. As long as you don't destroy the crystals, the enemies will just keep spawning forever.

  • If you do destroy the crystals, they will respawn by leaving this area of the map and coming back.
  • Destroying the crystals does give one Hero's Leaf of Light each.

Another good option for farming A-EXP is the two crystals back at the beginning of this section of the map, specifically looking for the large teeth. There is a limit to how many times those large teeth will respawn, but they give out the largest amount of A-EXP in the game and are great for hitting the maximum level on your Royal Archetypes.
