Royal Virtues are the different qualities that can make someone a good king in Metaphor: ReFantazio. While your Royal Virtues won't play any part in the ending of the game or where the story goes, they will play smaller parts when trying to rank up various followers.
Some followers will have various ranks locked behind a certain level in a Royal Virtue, making it important to max out all your virtues if you also want to complete every follower's story in a single playthrough. Tolerance is one Royal Virtue that is important in Euchronia's rough society. Here's how to rank it up.
Metaphor: ReFantazio - How to Increase Wisdom
Wisdom is an important Royal Virtue that you'll want to rank up quickly in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Here’s how to increase it.
How To Increase Tolerance In Metaphor: ReFantazio
Mustari / Masked People
The Tolerance virtue is marked on the map with an icon of a heart between two hands, with anything under that icon giving Tolerance. The main way to increase your Tolerance in Metaphor: ReFantazio is by listening to the lesser tribes of Euchronia. In every city, there will be a Masked Person, a member of the Mustari tribe who doesn't often show their face on the mainland.
Talking to them will not only give interesting lore about their tribe but also pass the time and give the player points in Tolerance. Talking to Mustari, who are in later cities, will give you more Tolerance points, so only speak to those in whatever city the story has you in.
Spend Time With Heismay
After a rough introduction of you trying to fight him, Heismay will join the party and will often be available to spend time with while on the Gauntlet Runner. This is limited to only when you are traveling, but spending time with Heismay will give Tolerance while also usually leading to a combo encounter if you are spending the evening with him.
Read A Book & Quests
After Heismay joins the party , he will also give the book Bygone Days, which will appear on the Gauntlet Runner's bookshelf. This book can be read three times before completion and will give three points in Tolerance each time. You'll get an extra point if you give the correct answer to Gallica while reading. Finishing the book will also give another four points of Tolerance.
A handful of side quests throughout the game will give Tolerance, but they are few and far between. Players can check the rewards for a quest to see if Tolerance is listed before taking the time to complete it. One quest early on requires players to get a Breath Of Fresh Air, an easy source of early Tolerance.
