Cooking is an easy way to get some of the best healing items in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Along with a bonus recipe for cooking all other recipes in the game, some recipes can offer items that outclass even some of the best healing spells in terms of HP restored and status ailments cured.

Cooking initially takes up free time while you're on the Gauntlet Runner, but by ranking up Maria's bond, you can unlock speed cooking which allows it to be done without spending time, leading to a lot more cooking. Where To Buy Mellow Milk In Metaphor: ReFantazio

The first place to buy Mellow Milk is from the Spirited Water Merchant in Thoroughfare Square of Martira. This is the first and most convenient location to buy Mellow Milk, though this merchant only sells five before running out. There are three other locations in the game that sell Mellow Milk, with each one selling an infinite amount, those being:

  • Inundo - Village near Brilehaven
  • Lingo - Village near Grand Trad
  • Devout Water Seller - Dia Franco Street of Altabury Heights

No matter where you choose to buy Mellow Milk, it will always cost 800 Reeve a piece. When passing through one of those towns early into the game, it's best to stock up on a few Mellow Milk as you won't be able to freely buy an infinite supply of the milk until you reach Altabury Heights, which is the fifth major city you visit in the game.

Increases Attack, Defense, Hit, and Evasion for three turns for all allies.

While the Secretest of Secrets may seem like a good option, a party-wide buff-all from the Almighty Golden Stew makes it one of the best buffs in the game, counting other items and even spells. Especially against some of the late-game bosses, it is highly recommended to have as many of these as you can make.
