Metaphor: ReFantazio lets you cook while the Gauntlet Runner is moving, leading to useful consumables to use in battle or when exploring dungeons. Later recipes will be far better than the ones you start out with, though they will require much more difficult to obtain cooking ingredients.

While many of the basic ingredients can be purchased at various merchants throughout the game, others will be much more hidden, much like Queen's Honey Jars. How To Get Queen's Honey Jars In Metaphor: ReFantazio

Fishing can be done anytime the Gauntlet Runner is traveling to a nearby location from Virga Island during normal weather conditions. Heismay's fishing supplies can be found on the left side of the deck, and interacting with them will begin fishing. The results of fishing are decided by Heismay's dialogue, your response, and the type of bait you are using. Queen's Honey Jars can be obtained using any type of bait, with the only difference being Tail Bait rewarding two Queen's Honey Jars consistently with Grasshopper bait only sometimes giving two.

It's best to save before fishing in case different dialogues are given by Heismay that aren't listed below.
