To unlock the Vigorwasp Revival ability for your Palico helper, you'll need to complete the Monster Hunter Wilds side mission: A Gutsy Move. The quest will require you to use your capture net to obtain a Giant Vigorwasp for your Palico.
If you're trying to figure out the easiest way to find Giant Vigorwasps in MH Wilds, this guide will help.
How to Make Your Seikret Look Like a Chocobo in Monster Hunter Wilds
Monster Hunter Wilds lets players customize the appearance of their Seikret and make it look like a Chocobo from Square Enix's Final Fantasy series.
Giant Vigorwasp Location in Monster Hunter Wilds
Giant Vigorwasps are bee-looking creatures that you'll occasionally spot during hunts. They'll heal you and others nearby when activated. The three known habitats for Giant Vigorwasps in Monster Hunter Wilds are the Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, and Ruins of Wyveria.
Luckily, there's a very easy way to filter this special type of Endemic Life on the map so that you can make your Seikret take you to its location without even needing to touch the controller.
- Open your map by pressing down on the touchpad (PS5) or View button (Xbox).
- Use the right button on the directional pad to select Filter Icons.
- Scroll down until you see Giant Vigorwasps on the list. In our image below, you can see that there's a Giant Vigorwasp in Area 10 in the Windward Plains.
- Click on the Giant Vigorwasp and set a waypoint.
- Once you mount your Seikret (up on the directional pad), it should start to automatically take you to your destination.
- Once you find it, hold L1/LB to scroll through your item bar until you see a Capture Net. Aim the net with L2/LT, then fire with R2/RT.
- Once it's captured, you can report to your Palico at a home base for your reward.
Reward for Completing A Gutsy Move Mission in Monster Hunter Wilds
As a reward for obtaining the Giant Vigorwasp for your Palico, they'll hand over three Ancient Potions and five Max Potions.
These items are super useful out there in the wild, so don't be afraid to place them in your pouch before your next hunt. Max Potions fully restores your health and temporarily maximizes the size of your HP bar. On the other hand, Ancient Potions do the same thing, but they also affect Stamina.
