Horikoshi Kohei is nothing short of a legend within the manga industry. In 2014, he came up with My Hero Academia, and at the time, he would have been content if his project sold well, allowing him to finish the story in his preferred manner. But he had no idea that it would become one of the best-selling manga of all time.

Recently, Horikoshi Kohei endorsed Ichi the Witch, which is quickly becoming one of the hottest prospects within the Weekly Shonen Jump. Now, the author of My Hero Academia has come out in support of The Regalia of the Underdog by Shinachiku. He has urged fans to read the manga, helping bolster its popularity.

Fans are already excited for the next instalment in the ambitious Naruto x TMNT crossover comic, and some special art for it just dropped.

What Is The Regalia of the Underdog About?

As previously stated, Horikoshi Kohei has already endorsed Ichi the Witch. The manga is written by Osamu Nishi and illustrated by Shiro Usazaki. The series has taken over the manga community, and most, if not all, who have read it have fallen in love with the characters created by Osamu Nishi and Shiro Usazaki. The creators have conjured a magical world that has encapsulated the attention of readers, leaving them completely mesmerized.

Shinachiku's The Regalia of the Underdog has an interesting story. It follows a noble boy who has wealth, power, and talent. Due to being so well. Endowed, he becomes very arrogant. When the royal exams begin, he decides to participate as he considers himself a tier above the rest.

However, he is flummoxed when a blacksmith boy beats him in a duel. This utter humiliation affects his perception, and he understands some of his shortcomings. Following his defeat, he starts a journey of redemption and aims to conquer the throne at the end of it.

What makes The Regalia of the Underdog unique is how it focuses on the noble's journey. Usually, manga protagonists come from poverty, but that isn't the case here. Considering Horikoshi Kohei's previous endorsement was Ichi the Witch, fans should certainly give The Regalia of the Underdog a try.

Going back to Horikoshi Kohei, it is worth noting that he has hinted at a new project. After My Hero Academia manga came to a close in 2024, the author has not started anything new, but he has expressed interest in making a fresh start.

While My Hero Academia manga has come to a close, the anime still has one season left. It is set to air in fall 2025, and it will bring Midoriya's story to an end. Studio Bones will do its best to ensure that the final season of the anime is the best that it has produced so far.
