Crafting is a massive part of Mojang Studios’ Minecraft. As you progress in the game, you can craft lots of different items like weapons, armor, and much more. Previously, players needed a crafting table to make items in the game, but the new 1.21 Tricky Trials update has introduced a new block called Crafter that makes the whole process a lot easier.
However, making the Crafter and using it might be tricky for beginners. Keeping that in mind, this guide will walk you through how to get the Crafter block in Minecraft.
Minecraft: How to Get (& Use) Breach Enchantment
Breach is a great enchantment that you can use to weaken your target's armor in Minecraft. Here's how you can get it.
How To Get The Crafter Block In Minecraft
To build a Crafter, Minecrafters will need to gather the following four items:
- 2 x Redstone Dust
- 5 x Iron Ingots
- 1 x Dropper
- 1 x Crafting Table
Redstone Dust is a versatile material used in many crafting recipes in the game, such as Observer, Piston, and Dispenser. You can get it by mining Redstone Ores in places like the Woodland and Jungle Pyramids.
Each block will give you around three to four Redstone Dust.
You will need a pickaxe to mine Redstone Ore, so make sure you have any type of pickaxe with you before you start mining.
The next material you will need is Iron Ingots. Instead of mining them directly, you have to craft them. You can easily find Iron Ore in the early areas of the game.
To mine Iron Ore, you will need a stone pickaxe. If you don’t have one, you can craft it using three cobblestones and two sticks. Once you have it, mine Iron Ore and smelt it in a furnace to turn it into Iron Ingots.
The Dropper is a useful Minecraft block that helps players move items faster. Players can craft it using six Cobblestones and one Redstone Dust at a Crafting Table.
To make a Crafter, you first need a basic Crafting Table because the Crafter is an advanced version of it. If you don’t have one already, you can make one with four pieces of Wooden Planks. These can be obtained by chopping down trees.
With all the aforementioned ingredients acquired, open the crafting menu and arrange them in the following pattern:
Place three Iron Ingots in the top row of the grid, then one Iron Ingot, one Crafting Table, and one Iron Ingot in the second row, and finally, one Redstone Dust, one Dropper, and one Redstone Dust in the bottom row.
