Minecraft has launched the new Disney Worlds of Adventure DLC, which costs $7.99. The DLC adds a unique map where players can visit reproductions of locations from the films Aladdin, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Alice in Wonderland. Each reproduction shows locations familiar to fans such as Agrabah, Pride Rock, and the Wonderland Maze. As well as giving a blocky makeover to some of the most famous Disney films, the DLC brings Minecraft versions of the characters from these movies, including some of Disney's famous animated villains like Jafar, Ursula, and the Evil Queen.

This isn't the first time Minecraft and Disney have collaborated, as the two entertainment giants have crossed over on other occasions. In 2020, Minecraft released the Minecraft x Star Wars DLC, where players encounter characters and locations from the original trilogy and The Mandalorian series. The following year, the Minecraft x Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Adventure DLC was released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. In this DLC, players can explore famous attractions such as the Jungle Cruise and the Haunted Mansion, and meet some of the most iconic characters from Pixar and Disney. In 2022, it was Minecraft's turn to collaborate with Lightyear in a DLC that brings Pixar's movie about Buzz Lightyear to Mojang's game.

While Minecraft receives the new Disney crossover, Mojang's game continues its routine of adjustments and introducing new content. After receiving the major Tales and Trails update, Minecraft tested a big adjustment to diamonds in one of its most recent snapshots that promise to impact the gameplay. Mojang has also launched another crossover, which brought the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Minecraft to battle blocky versions of their main enemies.

Minecraft is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and legacy platforms.
