The Grindstone is a useful block in Minecraft, and there are two main ways to get one. Here’s a quick overview of both methods:
Craft the Grindstone
To craft a Grindstone in Minecraft, Minecrafters will have to collect a few materials. Here’s what you need:
- 2 x Sticks
- 1 x Stone Slab
- 2 x Planks.
Sticks are made by combining two wooden planks. You also need planks to craft the Grindstone, so it would be a good idea to make extra. You can get them by chopping down any tree. For a stone slab, mine three stones from caves or mountains.
Once you have all the materials, open the crafting menu and place them in the following pattern: one stick, one stone slab, one stick, one plank, an empty slot, and the last plank.
Get From Weaponsmith
This is the easiest way to get a Grindstone. For this method, you will need to find a weaponsmith, a Minecraft villager who sells weapons. At his workstation, you will see a Grindstone. Simply mine it using a pickaxe.
If players use any tool other than a pickaxe, they won’t be able to collect the Grindstone. So, make sure you have a pickaxe in your inventory. A pickaxe can be easily crafted using three iron ingots and two sticks.
