After Wild Flowers and Eyeblossom Flowers, we now have Cactus Flowers, which are just as pretty and perfect for decoration. But how do you find them? How to Get Cactus Flowers in Minecraft

To get your hands on Cactus Flowers, you’ll have to go to one of these four biomes:

Badlands
Eroded Badlands
Wooded Badlands
Deserts.

Once you’re there, you should look for Cacti because Cactus Flowers grow on top of them. They are easy to find thanks to their bright pink color. But here’s the thing: not every cactus will have a flower. There’s only about a 25% chance that a cactus will grow a flower. The taller the cactus, though, the better your chances. Here’s how this works:

When a cactus is only 1 or 2 blocks tall, there’s just a 10% chance the flower will grow on top instead of the cactus getting taller. But if the cactus reaches 3 blocks or more, the chances go up to 25%. And yes, the flower needs a little breathing room. It will only grow if there’s space on all four sides of the cactus.

Furthermore, Minecraft fans will find way more cacti growing naturally in Deserts compared to the three Badlands biomes. And just like with Leaf Litter, you can break and collect Cactus Flowers by hand or with any tool.

What are Cactus Flowers Used for in Minecraft

Cactus Flowers are mainly used to make dyes in Minecraft, like Eyeblossom Flowers from the Bundles of Bravery update. Since the flower is pink, it gives you pink dye. To do this, you just need a crafting table. Players who don’t have a table can make it using four wooden planks. Once it’s ready, put the Cactus Flower in, and you’ll get pink dye.

Another interesting use of Cactus Flowers is for breeding bees. If you hold one, bees will start following you around. You can feed it to a bee to put it in love mode, and soon enough, it will produce offspring.
