Minecraft Legends follows an adventurer on their quest to purge the Overworld of the Piglin infestation and restore harmony to each biome. Progressing through the story requires players to find and destroy multiple Piglin bases, and though this sounds simple enough, it can be an extremely difficult task without acquiring certain resources beforehand.

In Minecraft, Prismarine could be used to activate Conduits, but Minecraft Legends gives the resource an entirely different purpose. Here, it is needed to create and upgrade a variety of useful structures, so players may need to find large amounts if they wish to experience everything the game has to offer. That said, finding Prismarine can be a little challenging.

What Does Prismarine Do In Minecraft Legends?

Prismarine in Minecraft Legends

Once obtained, Prismarine can be used to build Improvement structures at the Well of Fate. These structures, once placed, grant the protagonist unique abilities and powers.

The Wellhouse Melody in Minecraft Legends

Prismarine is also needed to create Wellhouses, helpful structures that, once placed, can be used to fast-travel to wherever the Wellhouse is located on the map. These structures can be destroyed by Piglins, so players may need to check on them from time to time to make sure they can still be fast-traveled to. Building a Wellhouse costs 250 Wood, 250 Stone, 75 Iron, and 50 Prismarine.

If players aren't using the Well of Fate's building facilities or have yet to build more than one Wellhouse, they will likely end up obtaining large amounts of Prismarine during their travels. Acquiring lots of Prismarine in Minecraft Legends isn't too difficult, but since most of the structures that need it require big amounts, players are likely to run out quite often.

How To Get Prismarine In Minecraft Legends

Destroying Piglin Outpost structures in Minecraft Legends

In Minecraft Legends, Prismarine can be found quite regularly by infiltrating Piglin Outposts and destroying the structures built there. Golems and other mobs can be used to bring these structures down, but some are harder to destroy than others.

A Nether Portal in Minecraft Legends

While infiltrating bases with Nether portals in the center, players can simply destroy the Nether portal itself to cause all other structures in the area to collapse. Each of these structures will drop Prismarine where they fall, but if players aren't quick to collect it, the Prismarine will despawn. This is arguably the most reliable way to obtain large quantities of Prismarine, but there is a second method.

Opening an Allay Chest in Minecraft Legends

While exploring the world of Minecraft Legends, players can happen upon Allay Chests. These chests tend to obtain large amounts of random resources, and a select few contain additional Allays. It's possible to acquire Prismarine from these chests, so players should always ensure to open any they find on their travels.

Improvement: Allay Storage in Minecraft Legends

If players find that they are running out of storage space for Prismarine, they should return to the Well of Fate and construct the Improvement: Allay Storage Melody. Once placed, this structure will allow the protagonist to carry an additional 500 Wood, 500 Stone, 150 Lapis, 150 Gold, and most importantly, 150 Prismarine.

Minecraft Legends is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
