With one of the largest modding scenes on the internet, the Minecraft fanbase is always on the lookout for something new. When planning out a massive build, one of the trickiest parts is what to put inside it. The community has had to do with minimal interior decorating options thanks to Mojang preferring to focus on overhauling the more significant aspects of the game.

Thankfully, there are a whole host of mods for players to choose from that add all kinds of decorative and functional furniture. Players no longer have to make DIY chairs out of trapdoors. They can instead put a proper one down and sit on it like normal.

This impressive mod from user Season_Cookie adds an abundance of different furniture pieces into the mix, including things like window treatments, tables, chairs, and other assorted decorations that will liven up any space. Those seeking something more "sakura" and "cutesy" will definitely like these items, as there is a collection of pink-themed lightwood furniture pieces adorned with golden-style accents that really add a pop of color.

10 Macaw's Furniture

Creators continue to support the extensive Minecraft modding community, even with each subsequent patch from Mojang. Players that are looking for one of the newest and most comprehensive furniture mods for the release should turn to Macaw's Furniture, which has been updated for Caves & Cliffs Part 2 and showcases a wide array of useful and beautifully-designed furniture pieces that players can use to decorate their homes and structures.

MrCrayfish's mod has gotten a reputation in the community for being the de-facto furniture mod for Minecraft, and it's clear to see why. It may not add quite as many items as Decocraft or go for realism like ModernArch, but it adds a wide variety of items with incredible polish on the designs.

With tables, desks, chairs, and sofas for just about every wood and stone type in the game, meaning they'll fit into any biome. These items are so well-designed they could easily be official Mojang features. There's such a huge variety to it as well. Every room in the house is covered, but there's plenty for the outdoors too. Whether players want a lovely paved garden or a wild campsite, this mod offers those possibilities.
