A Minecraft player online has paid homage to one of the best Pixar movies, by recreating the balloon house from Up. The Minecraft community continues to impress with its amazing creations, with the Up house just the latest in a long line of builds.
Over the years, Minecraft has proven to be an incredible tool for gamers to bring their wildest ideas to life. The game's sandbox allows for just about anything to be built, and it's been awesome to follow what the community has been able to come up with. The creations just get more and more impressive, too. As more features and blocks are added, the possibilities open up further. One player even built a Walmart in Minecraft, showing how the real world can be used as inspiration for in-game builds.
Rumor: New LEGO Minecraft Set Is Launching Later This Year
An impressive new Minecraft LEGO set appears to leak online, with a tentative release date seemingly touted for later this year.
Redditor Bubbaflubba_ shared their awesome creation online, which is a full recreation of the balloon house from Pixar's Up. This impressive Minecraft build is up in the clouds, and unfortunately the user in the thread never clarified how they began the build so high to begin with. Sadly, they don't show the interior of the house either, so it isn't clear if the inside is also complete. However, what can be seen is awesome, and the balloons have been perfectly placed to resemble those in the film. Getting the shape of this correct would be much harder than it seems, as making it seem as though the balloons are in motion would prove a difficult task.
Pixar's Up Balloon House Recreated in Minecraft
One of the coolest things about Minecraft is how players use it to pay tribute to their favorite pieces of media, whether it be films or games. Something like Up makes sense - it has a whimsical quality that just suits a Minecraft build. However, it's always impressive to see someone create a Minecraft crossover that doesn't necessarily sound like it would work on paper. One gamer even built an incredible arena based on Rocket League in Minecraft, which seems to be a strange combination on the face of it.
Minecraft is coming off the back of its 15th-anniversary celebrations, with some awesome announcements indicating a strong future for the franchise. An animated Netflix series was even announced, marking the next step in Minecraft's multimedia ambitions. More importantly, it was also revealed that Minecraft's long-awaited Tricky Trials update will be released on June 13, in what promises to be an enormous content release. It's exciting times to be a Minecraft fan, just as it has been for the last 15 years.

Minecraft is a game made up of blocks, creatures, and community. You can survive the night or build a work of art – the choice is all yours. But if the thought of exploring a vast new world all on your own feels overwhelming, then fear not!
Minecraft has no set goal and can be played however you’d like! This is why it’s sometimes called a “sandbox game” – there are lots of things for you to do, and lots of ways that you can play. If you like being creative, then you can use the blocks to build things from your imagination. If you’re feeling brave, you can explore the world and face daring challenges. Blocks can be broken, crafted, placed to reshape the landscape, or used to build fantastical creations.
Creatures can be battled or befriended, depending on how you play. The world of Minecraft allows for epic adventures, quiet meditations, and everything in between. You can even share your creations with other players, or play in community worlds!
