Minecraft has seen some major changes throughout recent months, both teasing future content and making significant graphical upgrades. The "Vibrant Visuals" update officially saw its release earlier this year, overhauling everything from the game's lighting system to changing the game's water shadows. Minecraft unveiled its "Chase the Skies" game drop Sunday morning, showing off the highly-anticipated Happy Ghast and lots more. Mojang officially introduced the Happy Ghast and how players can find one in-game, hunting down a Dried Ghast and reviving it by setting the block in the water. Players can then feed their Ghastling with snowballs until it eventually grows into a Happy Ghast, with players then able to take to the skies on their Ghast friend with a Harness. Mojang also revealed a long-requested update coming with "Chase the Skies," finally allowing fans to craft Saddles.

Minecraft Officially Reveals "Chase the Skies" Game Drop

Alongside the addition of Happy Ghasts, Minecraft is also making several smaller changes with its newest game drop. Minecraft will add a "Player Locator" to the game as part of the update, allowing players to easily find their friends when exploring their Minecraft world. The game drop will add a new Music Disc players can find when defeating normal Ghasts in the Nether, with Minecraft also debuting five new songs players can hear throughout different Overworld biomes. Minecraft's "Chase the Skies" game drop is expected to officially release sometime later this month.

Chase the Skies will look to bring plenty of brand-new elements to Minecraft, granting a whole new dimension of the game for players to traverse. The Happy Ghast will serve as Minecraft's first-ever flying mount added to the game, making it easier than ever for fans to soar through the skies of their worlds. The new changes to Saddles are set to make several convenient changes to mounts as well, with players even able to remove Saddles now with Shears. Minecraft fans should have lots to be excited for with Chase the Skies' official release.
