A lot of main quests and side quests are clearly marked on the map in Titan Quest 2, making them easy to complete and great sources of easy or rare items. Other quests, specifically side quests, are much less clear and don't offer many hints or exact locations to search, though these quests are still very worthwhile to complete.
Completing quests is one of the easiest ways to level up fast, so taking the time to find a quest objective can usually be better than just grinding random enemies for XP. Where to Find the Missing Cows in Titan Quest 2
Issa will mention that the cows escaped from their pens and headed south, though there are multiple paths out of the Enclave to the south. You'll want to start at the waypoint in the Enclave and take the path south that's to the right of that waypoint. Follow the main road past the other section of the enclave with refugees, taking the second opening path down into the grass that leads to the swamp.
Continue through the swamp south, and you'll pass by two of the cows that have been killed, though you won't have to do anything with them. The path is fairly narrow, and you'll eventually come across the three cows just standing around. Interact with them to make them follow you as you head back to Stolos' to continue the quest.
New monsters will spawn on your way back to camp, through nothing that dangerous.

Finishing Missing Cows & The Reward For the Quest in Titan Quest 2
After returning the cows to Stolos, you'll learn more about the feud and be tasked with finding Old Man Thon, who is located southeast of the Enclave. A small area is marked on your map for where to find him, but you can head to the dead center of that area to find him. After doing so, the last few parts of the quest are simple:
- Return to Issa
- Agree to talk to Stolos with the group
- Give Stolos the potion
Doing so will finish the Missing Cows quest, giving you 3,962 XP to level up, and the satisfaction that things in the Enclave are better, though no rare items or gear are given along with it.
